I came to Cybersound Studios to work on my original music a few months ago. After some research online, I decided to utilize them for audio engineering/production on my original music.
I was connected with Justin Sheriff through the owner Perry Geyer. My immediate impression was welcoming and enthusiastic . Not only did it give me a good feeling, but it was only emphasized throughout my first session.
Justin is an amazing engineer/producer, and is not only attentive to what my wishes are in regards to my work, but is also very precise, responsive, and adaptive in terms of being able to work with. He has a great ear for all things music, and often times hears and adjusts things even I, as a life-long audiophile, am not always able to pick up on.
Perry, the owner, is also hands on, checks in on the progression, as busy as he is, and gives great feedback via his many years of experience in the field.
I came in with the intention of doing one song with Cybersound and 'seeing how things worked' and how my song might sound with a professional studio. I have just finished my second original song with Justin, and have plans to do the rest of my 'finished' work I have done, as well as songs I am in the process of writing now.
Not only am I happy with the outcome, but am proud of what has been able to be accomplished at Cybersound.
If you are looking for a studio to record your music, whether a fully produced song, or general audio production... I could not recommend a better organization and group of people. From the engineer/producers, to the owner, to even the interns, this is an amazing group of people and they take your work very seriously.
If you are serious about your craft as an artist, whether a casual hobbyist, or someone looking to build a fanbase, I highly recommend you book with Cybersound Recording Studios in Boston.

Read moreWhere do I start? The first time I've recorded here and got my song mixed and mastered I was honestly disappointed and wasn't fully satisfied with the result. What I've learned is you have to pick the right person for the right job. All of the engineers here are very capable of helping you bring your song to life but you must understand certain people specialize with different genres and have their own strengths and weaknesses. Most importantly for any top engineer id say they have to be more creative and get their mind out of the business side. The right person for the job Ive decided hands down and the GOAT is named Justin Sheriff. I highly recommend you book with him over anyone else in my personal opinion. His ability to understand the creativity in music, and experiment and also his dedication to get the song done how the artist wants it to sound is phenomenal. I can honestly say you won't meet anybody else not even just from a sound engineer perspective but just an overall kind hearted man to work with you on your music and any audio you want brought to life. Thank you so much Justin Sheriff and I truly look forward to working with you again and can't wait to produce more hits with you. Definitely will be seeing you at the top I can feel it. Stay blessed and remember to anyone reading that every engineer has their own characteristics and strengths depending on genre and sound of the artist and song. Book your session today. Once again Huge undying thank you to Justin Sheriff...
Read moreUpdated, 1 star response from the studio, “ I must have the wrong studio” A I didn’t book the session so my name wouldn’t be on there, if you read my review you would have seen that. B it was not in the last two weeks I just finally put n my review from the whack session we had at your studio. Goes to prove the point they really don’t care
Engineer wanted nothing to do with the session. Asked a simple question got no type of answer. Place been over priced for years so I never went finally someone else booked a session, whole vibe whack, dude was on his phone so the artist in the booth was trapped if I wasn’t paying attention he would just been sitting there down that long hall way trying to get this guys attention. Never gave them my money luckily never will. This ain’t it regardless...
