Absolutely love living at BLDG 89 — 5 stars without a doubt! The overall environment here is amazing. The air feels fresh, the surroundings are clean and peaceful, and the natural light in the rooms makes the space feel warm and welcoming every day. It truly feels like home.
One of the things I love most is the thoughtful design — two rooftop decks with great views, a clean and well-equipped gym, and beautifully furnished common areas both upstairs and downstairs. The curated art throughout the building adds a modern, artistic vibe. It’s also pet-friendly, which is a great feature for many residents.
The residential management team is fantastic — the leasing officers and support staff are friendly, approachable, and always responsive. Any issue, big or small, gets resolved quickly and professionally. I’ve even had things taken care of outside regular hours, which really made me feel supported. Security is also top-notch, with cameras, key fob access, and reliable onsite support — I always feel safe here, day or night.
The location is incredibly convenient. There’s a bus stop and Green Line T station just a short walk away, Bluebikes at the door, and tons of great food nearby — from Korean BBQ to bubble tea and bakeries. Grocery stores are close too, and the area stays lively and well-lit in the evenings.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, convenient, and well-managed place to live with a real sense of community, I truly can’t recommend 89 Brighton Ave enough. So happy to call...
Read moreI have had an INCREDIBLE experience living at BLDG 89. Lisa and Gerry, who work in senior building management, have a level of professionalism and hospitality that make living at BLDG 89 feel like home. Everything is brand new, it's cleaned every weekday by super friendly staff, and whenever there is something to call the building about, they are responsive and resolve any issues immediately (I once had a laundry machine issue- and they came in less than 15 min to fix it!) The facilities are incredible- the gym has everything you need (and functioning equipment- which I've not always had at every building gym!). There is also a beautiful courtyard and rooftop (that is a perfect hosting space and has a grill with all the equipment you need to grill), and a beautiful community room that I loved hosting friends at. The building is located across the street from Scoop n Scootery - my favorite ice cream in boston, right above F45- an incredible gym if you like doing group fitness and the community vibes, and walking distance to wonderful grocery shops like Star Market and...
Read moreBldg89 is not yet ready. It is under construction and they do not have licenses to process your application in time for your move. You will not get responses from them or their parent company Eden properties via calls or emails. They will be enthusiastic to show you the apartment via video chat or virtual tours and have to apply for it but will ghost you there after. They will also not want you to come over and see the premises in person claiming unavailability of personnel to show you the place. They claim that 20+ apartments have been applied for starting in feb/march 2022 but it is not true and they will not provide you with any assurance for it. The building is very new and the interiors look great however since it is not ready in its entirety, and they have no end date in sight, and with very limited people starting at the place (if any), and license issues, it is risky to join this place. You may find it very difficult to move-in, get maintenance or service if you choose...
