There are things to be liked here, but a few easy adjustments would make for a better ice cream experience.
Customers can only make an order via mobile. I'm generally quite adept with the mobile app world, but this experience was finicky and tedious. There are just too many options to see and choose quickly, particularly if you're not familiar with the menu. Then I couldn't even use a credit card on my phone (with Apple Pay), but had to type in the numbers in the ordering system, which just added to the delay. If they don't want people ordering inside, the store should have an employee outside with an iPad and square. It would be much faster (this would include having the flavors posted outside).
The ice cream itself was good, but altogether too much toppings. Perhaps some people like eating a sundae that is made up of 1/3 candy/sauce/whatever you ordered, but it was just too much for us. Rather than pay $9-$12 for one serving, I'd rather they cut back on the toppings and make it cheaper. It was just too expensive.
Both my wife and I ordered a sundae that was to have "chocolate flakes" but got a TON of chocolate chips instead.
A small annoyance is that a number of the sundaes are listed with "Reeses Pieces" but are not Reeses Pieces at all. They are chopped peanut butter cups. I don't know if they're trying to be creative with the naming, but it just ends up being confusing. They don't have Reeses Pieces at all in the store.
Due to putting every single order in a big brown paper bag, there is a lot of needless waste. The trash barrel outside was overflowing and trash (the bags) was blowing all over. This is probably another downer caused by the insistence on ordering ahead.
Positives: We received our order pretty quickly. The ice cream itself was very good. The marshmallow fluff in my sundae was creative and very tasty (I got the Fluffington Post).
I'm not sure we'd return unless we knew prices were a bit...

Vibrant Vibe: 🎨🌈 Step into a visual treat with a flair of modern ice cream parlor mixed with urban chic. The decor shines with its neon signs and rustic wood elements, making it a prime spot for both casual hangouts and Instagram shots. It's easily the highlight of your visit here.
Frosted Flaws: 🍨😕 While the ambiance scores big, the vegan vanilla ice cream does not. Described as tasting rather watery, it lacked the rich, creamy texture and flavor one craves in ice cream, vegan or not. The high cost for vegan options—nearly 50% more than regular flavors—didn't match the quality, which was a letdown given the promising array of toppings. A miss this time around, but with potential for redemption if the recipe improves.
Enhanced Experience: 🌟🎆
Service: Streamlined and straightforward, fitting the fast-paced vibe of the city. Decor: A delightful setting that adds a splash of fun to your dessert dash. Food: The non-vegan offerings might shine, but the vegan vanilla needs a serious churn back to the drawing board. Looking Back: 🤔💭 The Scoop and Scootery offers an eclectic, visually stimulating environment perfect for dessert lovers looking for something out of the ordinary. However, the vegan options need tweaking to truly stand out.
Final Verdict: 🌟🌟🌟 - "A Mixed Bag of Delights" "Perfect for a visual feast and a casual treat, but vegans beware: the vanilla might leave you cold."
For a spot that nails the ambiance but might miss the mark on some flavors, The Scoop and Scootery is still a worthy visit for those in the area seeking a cool dessert experience with a dash of...
