First time customer as of 12/1/18. Ordered a small 'The Rancher' pizza. Chopped tomatoes, bacon, chopped crispy chicken tenders and ranch dressing (and I added extra cheese). My brother ordered a large half cheese, half pepperoni. $17.00. Mine was obviously a splurge. We were both fans. Mine looked and smelled really good. Tasted good too. My brother and I laughed because the little pizza box was so much heavier than his large pizza, which also created a heavy pizza box, but not as heavy as mine. Leftovers for sure for me, so I happily turned it into two dinners. Pictured attached is 'The Rancher' pizza from Same Old Place. Oh, and we parked right in front around 8:30 pm on a Saturday night. So that was convenient/nice too in J.P.!

I have fond memories of going here and picking pies up with my old man when he lived just down the road. Twenty years later and the recipe and quality haven't changed, which I am pleased to see. I would agree with other reviewers that it's on the pricey side, $10 for two slices and a can of soda. However, JP is a trendy neighborhood and all spots on centre street demand high prices. Having to sub elementary school dance down the road to make ends meet and with my life crumbling all around me, I was more than happy to forfeit ten dollars for a slice of nostalgia, or two.

Extremely disappointed with the food and the customer service. I ordered an Italian cold cut sub and received a sub roll with Italian cuts on it, no mayo or lettuce or tomato, nothing but bread and meat. When I called to let them know of this, the guy said I didn’t order correctly. An Italian cold cut sandwich should always come with the condiments on it, otherwise it’s just meat and bread. I had to add my own condiments on it at home, and I paid $12 for just bread and meat. I will not be ordering from this establishment again.

I was working in the neighborhood for the week, my coworkers and I went every morning. The restaurant was always clean, coffee always freshly brewed and the cook that works the place is great, if he's really busy you may get to serve your own coffee. Bacon, egg and cheese on a brioche bun and a coffee for less than five dollars, served in about five minutes, which is great when you're on the run.

It's all about the pizza. I honestly never even looked past the pizza. Fantastic crust. Thin yet crunchy underneath, end crust like a great piece of bakery bread. Toppings are quality and perfect quantity. As an out of towner, this isn't my regular stop, but delivering on its name the place hasn't changed at all in my 25 years of visits. When you love it the first time you'll love it forever.
