This is an excellent, woman-owned & operated salon. Patty Martin is an outstanding, hard working, conscientious small-business owner, who is wildly talented and has incredible vision. Her salon is beautiful, inclusive, accessible, and has many green initiatives. She is truly one of the most hard-working women I know. She has been doing my hair for a very, very long time, and her commitment to education for herself and her team shows - she continues to amaze and elevate her craft, year after year. Her team is equally hardworking and being in there is like watching artists at work - every one of them is extremely talented. I have not seen a small business hustle like this one did during the pandemic. The environment is safe, has been renovated to protect both client and stylist, and the policies are helpful and protective. Patty is extremely conscientious of her clientele - working to make each client's experience both stellar and highly personalized. The other stylists are also incredibly talented and have cult followings because they reflect this same ethic. It's amazing to see how the master stylists empower and support the young women apprentices, and then watch as the apprentices move to the floor and start to develop their own clientele. And a huge shout out to the amazing Rosie at the front of the house, who is helpful, patient, kind, and cool, all at once.

I was in the salon this morning, and left feeling so valued as a client and with such a deep appreciation for how the the team interacted with one another and me that I came home to write this. The single best salon experience in my life. The people at love and mercy are going to listen to you and me honest with you about what you can and can't do. Patty (owner/stylist) did my color and Kimberly (stylist) did my cut. Patty is incredibly nice, brilliant, understanding, and painstakingly meticulous. For someone who obsesses about the details like me, Patty is a god sent. She and her apprentices are like a well oiled machine. Trust me, you just sit there relaxed while these ladies work magic on your head. Kimberly gave me the most flattering cut I've ever gotten by a long shot. She just has an eye for what's going to work and whats not for your face. She was so fun and nice and cool. You just want to be friends with everyone in the salon. The atmosphere is wonderful. Everything is spotless and bright and airy. The appointment was on the pricier side, but when you compare the amount of work that goes into your hair while you're there versus any other salon, you're getting an incredible deal. Not to mention they really focused on my hair being able to grow out well. I won't have another major appointment for 6 months. I have been going to LOVE AND MERCY for four years now and have been seeing Charlotte since day one of coming. Charlotte is truly a one of a kind professional and the most talented I have experienced. She is a color educator. She specializes in balayages I can confirm. The way she blends together my natural brunette color with a lighter blonde is an art. Anything I ask for is done better than I could have asked for or explained . She has a way of blending so naturally and effortlessly it comes out better than you imagined . She accommodates to whatever you’re looking to do with your hair and has an image right as you sit down and begin talking to her of how it will transform into that flawless look you’re looking for. Charlotte is my forever stylist here at Love and Mercy. The place is immaculate and has a fun, kind, and relaxing modern vibe. Many many amazing products here to look at and choose from when you first walk in. I can’t help but leave with something that will be worth it to use days after my salon trip.
