Been here a few times have gotten my hair colored and cut today i got a Deva cut couldn't be happier already have gotten compliments on my hair most importantly I love it. I was taught how to care for my hair properly all my questions were answered enthusiastically. The moment you walk in you are made to feel welcomed the salon is very clean You can't beat the prices. Maria and Doreen are so sweet and engaging I enjoy talking with them because of COViD I hadn't been there in months and months but Maria remembered me and my hair that says allot I won't be letting anyone else touch my hair. It's hard finding a place to do curly hair that doesn't charge an arm and a leg but to find one that goes above and beyond to give great service takes pride in what they do Philip's hits the mark I could go on and on about them. Like many people during quarantine, I have gotten bored with my hair and finally decided to try something new. Being a guy walking into a salon was a bit of a strange feeling for me as I had never been to one before. The environment and staff at Philip's Salon are very welcoming and immediately made me feel at home. I got a beach wave perm along with some eyebrow maintenance and both came out far better than expected and I am beyond satisfied with the services I received. If you are a guy and your thinking about changing up your hair or simply looking to tame your eyebrows, this is the place to go. While I was getting my hair done, I was also able to see the process and final product of two female clients that got their hair done and both of them came out fantastic as well. You can really tell the staff knows what they are doing with both male and female clients and I would highly recommend this...

Two days ago, I had the good fortune to sit in Maria's chair, at Philip's Salon. She first cut my hair 27 years ago, when I lived in Boston. Thursday, I flew (not for the first time) from Chicago, where I've lived for the past 20 years, solely for my appointment with Maria.

Not only is she the most gifted hairstylist I've ever known, but Maria also offers a level of professionalism, attention to detail, and superior customer service that are, in my estimation, rare to find.

The whole experience at Philip's Salon is first rate, from start to finish. Both Maria and co-stylist, Doreen, are simply top-notch. And probably sooner rather than later, I'll find myself booking another flight to Boston ... and my next appointment at Philip's...
