I had the worst experience of my life shopping at this store.
We showed up around opening and as soon as we walk in i ask for women's ski pants. The guy standing by the door tells me where they are (not offering to help or show me anything even though there are maybe 4 people in the store). We walk over and the pants are a mess. There is no organization so trying to find my size is so beyond difficult. I finally get like 7 different options because there is nothing explaining the difference between shot, regular and long so i have to try them on to see if they will fit, and then i have to wait in the sales line to get someone to unlock the 1 dressing room because there is no one there.
Then why do we discover? They have nothing in my size. I am a size 10-12, not anything special but the large doesn't fit, there is no extral large in stock. And most of the pants are really crappy made. I am really tired of being insulted by clothing manufacturers who don't keep a size large in their store. Sorry that being 5'6 and 170 lb somehow makes me too big for most retailers.
Super disappointed as i had seen something i liked at the north face shop in Spain and wanted to get if when i got back here but nope. I am done trying to support this company. I found something that fit and was better and came with EXCELLENT service at the store down the street with the long...
Read moreThe North Face, as a company, doesn’t care. Products are fine. Policy is broken. Next time will listen to my family and buy from Canada Goose from any other company who cares. My experience buying a jacket this winter at the Newbury St. North Face store was: -Bought a jacket. The zipper was defective. Drove back into Boston and brought the jacket back to the store a week after purchasing it. Was told in person that I could not exchange or return it and have to fill out an online warranty form and mail the jacket in. Then wait 4-6 weeks for it to be repaired and mailed back to me. They already lost me there! -Drove home, waited until winter was over using the jacket with the defective zipper. -Filled out the form. The point here is that the customer per their policy has to pay for the shipping which is ridiculous. Cost $65+ to ship it via UPS including the insurance and everything North Face said had to be included. -Complained to customer service in several ways and never got even the dignity of a response. -Received the jacket back and the zipper is fixed. Will never buy from North Face again. They don’t care...
Read moreI have been a North Face fan for their coats for years but when I purchased a coat online it wasn't at all what I expected to say the least. The coat was very thin and the hood snaps kept popping off to the point where the hood fell off and I didn't realize it. I decided to return it online when I asked why don't I return it to the North Face store on Newbury st. 🙄 I didn't know there was a North Face store on Newbury st again🙄. So I did an easy exchange got a better coat and the hood zips not snaps very nice totally satisfied. The employees were very nice greeted me at the door, fast and easy exchange. I was asked would I take a survey and the survey took longer than the actual time I initially needed in the store. I am not saying this not to discourage customers this is for North Face please cut down on the survey question I felt like I was flashing back in high school taking a test that's how your survey made me feel there's way too...
