My wife received a gift for Christmas from one of our daughters which arrived on 12/15/24. She opened it on the 25th but didn’t like the dresses. Tried to return them on 1/4/25 but the return line was ridiculous. We left thinking to come back at another time maybe it was after Christmas returns that made it look out of control. Went back to the same Zara Boston store and sttod in the exact same chaos for 1 hour and was told we were past the 30 day return policy and basically to screw. I showed the employee the pic of the chaos from 1/4 and that both my wife and I had been really sick with the flu and hadn’t had a chance to get back there to return it. Called their customer service line and was told nothing could be done. These return lines are def meant to be stupid long so peeps leave rather than waiting to return the items. Zara sucks and will never shop there again for any reason. BTW todays line was a 50 minute wait

I love Zara cloths, but this Zara on Newberry street is the WORST! Cloths thrown all over the place and a nightmare to check out. Also the escalator NEVER works. I've lived in Boston for nearly 7 years and every time I went in this Zara the escalator AND elevator are broken. No bummer for me because fortunately I have two good legs. However for someone who doesn't, that's a deal breaker. Also the people that work here you can tell hate their job. Like don't hide it AT ALL. My advice is drive to providence mall Zara it's worth the gas and miles.

The store has a varied selection of clothes, some you won't find at every Zara. However the reviews out there are true, visit with a lot of patience because you'll wait outside in line and you'll wait in line outside the fitting rooms and you'll wait in line at the register. But do visit if you have the time and lots of patience. Also, sometimes due to staff shortage they'll close the fitting rooms so be prepared to be extra patient with returns. On the bright side, those days with fitting room closures tend to be less packed inside.

{Please don't visit this location} 0/5 for Experience

Normal I don't buy anything from Zara but as my friend recommended that I should try Zara for this time.  It was my first experience and the Worst one. I prefer buying my shoes either from Macy's or Aldo. Here is the details overview of my experience at Boston Zara located a Newberry Street.

1st Experience:  23rd October 2019Time of Visit: 6p.m -8p.m I liked the shoes and wanted to try. Me: Sir, I liked these shoes can I try them on? Helper(An Asian Guy height 5'6- 5'8): Yes. Me: Sir, I can't bend down would you help me the sitting stool or a place where I sit and try. I couldn't bend down because I had a surgery in Knee, I told him Helper: Sorry, We don't have anything. Me: I not sure about my size what should I do. Helper: You Can Try If you are not happy with it you can return with 30 days. Me: Took shoes happily paid the amount. (What shocked me here is your marketing gimmick, the cost was mention in 59.95, but then cost turns out to be 99.9 something because your tags where is Euro). I wore shoes, tried the comfort but I wasn't unhappy, as soon I step out of my house it gave me shoe bit on my heels got bruised very badly. I went to return it today. Cashier: How can I help you? Me: Hey, I wanna return my shoes.Cashier: Any concerns? Me: Yes, It not at all comfortable, It bruised my heel and gives me shoe bite. Cashier: let me ask the manager. Me: Ok.After 20-25 Mins of the wait. Manager: You can't return since you wore. Me: Ma'am but I Wanted to try the shoes here only but since you guys didn't have any places where I could try, Your Service guy advised me to try comfort at home and get back if it doesn't look fine. Manager: No sir, we can't do. Me: I was angry, I left my shoes. But I went back again as my friend suggested speak with customer care tell them everything. Here are my concern, If your service guy suggested to me, I can try and be assured, then why did the flip on words now. Is customer satisfaction more important policy for Zara or making money. When do you plan to make the place more accessible for all, just check the reviews on Google Zara Boston Newberry a lot of people have a complaint about accessibility, still no response. Can you please me the policy for Euros vs Dollars as a non-native speaker of English I am wanna know how do you, thug people?

Updated 2/27 these guys doesn’t fail to disappoint visited after 2 year still same customer service! I don’t know if the management even care about customer experience! An huge shoutout to the store manager who worked...

If i could give zero stars, I would.. Horrible, non existent customer service, staff not helpful, lazy, took over 15 minutes to check me out, i had 3 items and there was 1 person in front of me. Cashier checking me out was bickering with the other cashier and paying little attention to taking care of me. End result, he left not 1, but 2 magnetic scan locks on the 2 of 3 items i purchased. Of course impossible for me to take off.. this was just a few days before Christmas when I made a special trip into the city to go to Zara and 1 other store in back bay before flying out of the country for the holidays. . The 2 items were Christmas gifts which in the end I could not give to the recipients. I just called the store and after dialing the number 4 times, letting each time ring at least 10-15 times, someone finally picked up. Spoke w a supposed mgr, Isabel, who demanded the only option for me is to bring the physical receipt and items back into the store. I live 45 miles outside of Boston and not planning on traveling into the city any time soon. She did not offer any other resolution. I offered to give her whatever transaction numbers she needed off the receipt which she should be able to print out a duplicate of and view on their system. She refused, did not even attempt to offer apology or resolutio . Basically she implied that the situation I described was not possible and that the items were not scanned.. items were scanned and charged to my card. I'm going to contest the charge with my credit card and have the card reclaim the money. Horrible store, no service, never going to Zara again, at least to this store which apparently has, no surprisingly, horrible...

!!!!!! STAY AWAY !!!!! DO NOT SHOP ONLINE WITH ZARA

I had two packages from Zara, worth a total of $408, stolen - I have CCTV footage evidence of the theft, as well as evidence that it is my boxes because the ripped open boxes remained. Zara has refused to provide any sort of replacement or refund. I spoke with their customer service team and they told me that Zara bears no responsibility for stolen packages. I requested that they send me an email with that policy in writing as well as an email in writing to confirm my call, but I was only given a case reference number and they refused to provide any written word, and also refused to transfer my call to a supervisor or anybody with more authority. I have looked into reviews online now, and it seems I am one of many over many years who has had this problem and clearly Zara has not . It is absurd for a multibillion dollar international corporation to treat their customers like this. Amazon, a notoriously cheap company in many of their practices, still replaces stolen items - I have experienced this firsthand when one of my Amazon packages was stolen a few years ago, and many others who have used Amazon have reported the same online. I have read many reviews of other companies that replace their customer’s items. Shame on Zara.

There are so many reasons not to shop here, but I know as student that sometimes it is difficult to resist the urge because of the lower prices. The orders that were stolen were going to be all of my winter coats now that I’ve loved to a colder location. But if you are thinking of ordering from Zara DO NOT DO IT. DO NOT DO IT. You will be treated like RUBBISH as a customer. STAY...
