Garage Sale Vintage — Local services in Boulder

As a local business owner on Pearl street I love supporting new businesses in Boulder, however whoever owns this place should spend more time understanding the lack of service their bar employees give. The service is the worst I have experienced in Boulder- well actually we never got any service. I brought my team in for a celebration and we waited at the bar for over 20 mins and were never even acknowledged. We finally asked for a menu and the bartender seemed very put out by having to turn around and acknowledge that 4 of us were sitting there waiting for service. One bartender served many people who had come in after us and the other bartender spent her time reading tarot cards and not serving anyone. I am always happy to recommend places for my customers to go for a fun place to drink- I definitely will not be promoting this place and will recommend people stay away if they actually care to be served. good drinks, okay food. unfortunately, they have a “no cash” policy that i cannot support. house policy or not, it’s blatantly classist. it’s no secret that cash is more accessible to under privileged groups of people than debit/credit, and by not allowing cash, you are closing off your business to a large population of people (seemingly on purpose). very disappointing, especially for a business that seems to pander to progressive younger generations. i’d also like to note that by colorado law, you have to accept all valid united states currency as payment. do better :/

Lucky enough to stumble upon garage sale in Boulder today, it was our first & last stop. It was Tuesday and tacos were $2…too bad we had eaten before we stumbled upon this place. Hannah was behind the bar with Jamie serving up fire drinks!!!! Sangria was refreshing as were the margaritas and both on happy hour menu!!!! While we drank we walked around and did some shopping for all things vintage! What a cute concept. This place was definitely bar forward which I liked. What a nice place to spend an afternoon. Music was a dope mix of fun 80’s-90’s mix with tvs all playing the best of mtv music videos!!! 10/10 recommend this place. Hannah you made this such a dope experience...
