Bowie Farmers' Market — Local services in Bowie

It's a small but very good farmers' market! The vendors are very friendly all the time. I shopped there weekly when I lived in Bowie. There are stands for fresh produce...meat...baked goods...homemade jams, flavored mustards and other sauces (Ginny's)...roasted coffee beans...handmade body products (Sixahwe)...jewelry...and many other things to buy. I don't know if the food truck (C & JD's) and the ice cream vendor (Edesia's) are still there. I always got the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich from C & JD's food truck, Vidalia onion relish and the sundried tomato mustard from Ginny, bar soaps and body oil from Sixahwe. I miss Mama Cocoa's Delights being at the market; she made the best candy and...

Great farmer's market, good people, excellent food. Kid friendly. Only thing I don't like is that it's on Sundays, which means I can't buy and cook food until after getting back from church Sunday afternoon, once the weekend is basically over. Saturday mornings would be a lot more useful, as we could start cooking for the weekend and upcoming week before lunchtime...

My husband and I absolutely love the Farmers market in Bowie!!!! The produce is always incredibly fresh, the prices are extremely reasonable and the vendor are so friendly. It's always a treat when we can spend a Sunday...
