Worst place to purchase alcohol. On two different occasions Iāve had a bad experience here. Thought Iād give it another try today after a prior visit where I witnessed 3 people have their transactions completed without being asked for identification before me, then when I was rang up the cashier proceeded to ask me for my identification. When I asked why he requested it, mind you I look well beyond the age of 21, he responded with āwe card everyoneā. I expressed my confusion on why he didnāt ask the 3 Caucasian customers ahead of me and he simply gave me a vague response stating that it slipped his mind. Now today, I attempted to make a purchase and when making the transaction asked if I may pay a certain amount in cash and the rest on my card. The cashier declined. I asked why, and he stated that management made it a rule. I asked to speak with management and an elder short Caucasian lady came to address the situation. Without any effort to satisfy my needs as a customer she stated that they do not perform split transactions. Again when I asked what the reasoning was for such an unusual rule, she stated that they donāt do split transactions for one item purchases. In all my years of customer service Iāve never heard of a more bogus reason to deny a customer and lose a sale. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere for alcohol. Clearly management here sucks and the covert racism is obvious. Terrible...

Iām from the county so Rips has always been a staple. However, over the last few years service and quality hasnāt been up to what it used to be.
In addition to experiencing mischarging and other occurrences, the last straw was that I stopped by to pick up some beer and the product I selected had the following problems.
(1) The expiration date was 07/25 and itās Septemberā¦expired beer should be identified as such if legal to still sell. (2) There was mold growing on the bottles. In fact, there was mold throughout the beer case shelves.
I brought it to the attention of the manager, and he seemed surprised but really ā is this the first time youāre aware thereās mold in your fridges??
This place is still good for wine and hard liquor...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a horrible experience with a manager on duty. My bottle fell as soon as I stepped outside. I wasn't gone a full minute right outside the store, through the paper bag, SMASH! I came in and told them I spilled it and there's glass on the floor. He looked at me like I was a wino and was like, "You are out the building you will have to buy another one." He was so dry and cold! I'm more mad at myself that I did! The cashier (guy) was awesome, very sympathetic to what just happened. I remembered this experience now because I have a function and I need a few bottles as gifts. I will NOT be getting...
