We purchased an item from their toy store. We paid with their Bowling Green Store instead of online because they told us it would be easier for payment. We were told by Aubrey that shipping was free. We paid and did not receive a receipt until a week later. The receipt did not even have proper details on it so that we could track our order. We were told that the warehouse would contact us for shipping. When we never received a call from their shipping department, we called the store. Aubrey explained that he would check into it. He told us that they never shipped it because shipping wasn't free after all, and the shipping had not been paid. Aubrey told my husband that he had made a mistake and that the shipping was not supposed to be free, but he was going to pay for it. He said that he was paying for 2 day shipping. When we did not receive the item, we called again. At this time we were given a tracking number, but the information from the post office regarding the package deilvery was showing it was not going to be delivered. We spoke to our local post office this morning. They told us the company mailed it incorrectly(lack of postage), and if we wanted the package we would have to pay another $156.39 to receive it. We asked the owner to contact the post office to resolve this. We asked the owner to contact us, but they ignored us and told their store representatives not to call us back. We called the store where the owner ( Eric) answered the phone. He gave us his name and lied to us saying he just worked there. We recognized his voice and were told by their other store manager that he was indeed the owner. We received an email from someone stating that they asked the post office to send the item WE purchased back to their store, and that we would not even receive a refund until after they received it, if they received it. It's always like an event for our little family because we drive from Fort Knox just to get to the store (and its so worth it!). There's a ton of items to choose from every single time. Collectibles, awesome shirts, action figures, cut-out record clocks, legos, statues, loungefly bags and wallets-- All kinds of cool, fun, nerdy stuff! They have LAYAWAY too, which makes it so easy to stop in and see what they've got without worrying you'll find something you absolutely NEED but can't afford it at that given second. You can take your pic with a killer klown or Pennywise from "it". The doors and windows have cool character art all over, and don't forget to look UP when in the store to view all of the painted ceiling tiles that customers have contributed. It's a very unique and fun store, and the staff is always nice and happy to help out as you may need. From nostalgic action figures to new releases you'll likely find something you love each time you visit the store. We always end up purchasing or putting something on layaway most every visit! The prices are fair and the location is easy to GPS your way without much complication. The store is in the corner of the shopping center and their shop is fairly big. Read moreI use to love this store and talk highly about it. Sadly, it has really fallen from grace, and it gets harder and harder to try and go back. Everything is too corporate now I’ve never seen so much paper work just to do a trade or preorder, just about everything in store you can easily get online and in a faster time frame it takes half a year to get orders in now where everywhere gets them on time. There’s no “replay” to it now, they use to have old and nostalgic toys that were hard to find at a decent price, now it’s all stuff you see in every other store. Not to mention the downgrade in staff. I tried going in today and wanted help trying to find an item, but the work was too busy visiting and chatting with some random person…wasn’t even about an item, they were just talking about what animes they were watching 🙄. Both looked at me several times and I tried waiting, but after several minutes of them just talking and looking over at me I just left. Also have had several instances of them loosing how much I’ve paid on orders and tried to make me pay again and some of the straight plan incompetence of some of the workers that use to be there.
