When I first called to see if they carried 5s iPhone batteries they said they thought so so explained we we’re coming from Shelburne falls 45 miles away I wanted them to check to make sure because I think so,wasn’t very reassuring . When he came back on the phone he said yes they had it and that it would take an hr or 2. I said when I originally called I was told it would take an hr he said it usually takes an hr but tells everyone it’s two in case there’s something unforeseen. So we drop it off and was told it would be ready in two hrs. So we went and did some shopping and went to lunch. We got there close to 2:30 and they said they’d been busy and they needed another half hr. Well a half hr later they came out and asked for the password for getting in the phone so that kinda means they had just started it then another half hr went by and they said they were doing a diagnostic on it I had already told him the Apple store had done a diagnostic on it and I had the case number. I was told he didn’t need it. So we didn’t get the phone for 3 hrs and 45 minutes. My mom is 85 yrs old and gets around pretty well but we had to cancel our other errands because of the 2 1/2 hrs...
Read moreI managed to brick my Windows desktop, so I broke out my travel/ backup laptop while I waited for my new parts to arrive. Then I realized that my laptop drive was full. So that option was dead in the water until i got it addressed. I called around and Brown Computer was the only place where I could get a new larger hard drive swapped in with a clone of my old drive so I wouldn't spend days downloading everything again. Luckily I had the drive from my failed desktop to swap in and the next morning everything was good.

Read moreToo bad I had a bad experience. Yes they were very friendly when buying. Then I had a problem with the screen blacking out and I brought the computer in not knowing (because I was computer illiterate ! ) that all I had to do was press the brightness button . They didn't tell me that either but said it was a quick fix and I could pick it up in the afternoon. So I was charged for that when all they had to do was educate me on the brightness button. Then I had a problem with the plastic chipping which they charged me $40 to replace .. twice it happened. Then I went to a different dealer and they were surprised that I was charged as the apple company replaces it for free knowing it was a faulty design..disappointing.. I don't trust...
