1st- For local & state hypers of VT, STOP being FLAKY towards biz that really deserves a fighting chance to exist & try to support such unique businesses unlike the bogus downtown establishments that’s not detrimental to the local community’s benefit.
2nd- GO GET THE LAMB GYRO, it’s really TASTY! Close to the NYC Halal street foods, flavor-wise. Plus the prices are really decent for the portions. The Afghan guy/cook is a genuinely kind man (his Wife included!) who prepares your to go orders unless you prefer to eat at the tiny table. Oh, the lamb with rice is also delish & make sure to ask for the fiery hot sauce to be put into the tiny container…it’ll SCORCH your tongue unless you don’t mind the heavy drizzles on your foods!

Within a humble gas station, greatness stirs. This unassuming outpost hides a culinary power strong in the ways of flavor. Sampled the chicken gyro and chicken over rice, I did—each bite, bursting with balance and spice. Medium heat it was, bold yet harmonious, like a well-tuned lightsaber.

Read moreIt’s really refreshing to find a hole in the wall place in VT that serves fresh, authentic food like this. We had the chicken over rice and the gyro - so many good flavors and the meat was super tender. The green sauce was amazing! The kitchen looked immaculately clean and the chef/owner was friendly, even though he was really busy both cooking and working the counter. Can’t beat the price either! We will be back soon to try the lamb dishes.
