Fairly well kept and the associate that helped me was very pleasant. They were having a sale on"fine jewelry", when I walked through the area twice not I look or word from two associates that were behind the counters. Came back once again to pay for something and when they did recognise me as a customer, I was told that I was not able to pay at that counter "you will have to pay elsewhere". During the whole time that my wife was shopping I just hung in that area and the funny thing was they had no customers the whole time we were there... about 50 minutes. Bad service or bad policy? Either way someone at Penny's should look at what is happening in their stores. Maybe they can take steps to get things right before they have to close anymore stores. Kind of wish I had taken a picture of the entrance we came through, next to Nordstrom . Penny's enterence had trash piled up on the planters, both side. The planters themselves we're half dead bird of paradise and weeds. I'm pretty sure that it would take a simple phone call to the mall management to fix it. All the other enterences (stores) we're well kept. I really don't want Penny's to go the way of other retailers and close, but I could...
Read moreCame down from San Francisco, for a wedding. I forgot my white dress shirt. Went to Burlington and Ross but man... Their stock is lacking. They had nothing in my size. Really went there cause I didn't want to spend a lot of money (since I already had one)... We go to JCPenney often, so we decided to go there. Went to the men's dress section and right away we were greeted by Norma. When I tell you she was help, I mean it! She was with us the entire time. I thought I had the right size but she said I think your arms are longer. She was spot on. She had me try on 2 different shirts, so I can see which arm size I like best. Then she went and got a white one in a package. Tried it on and it was perfect. Thank you very...
Read moreI usually love JCPenney, however, today was not very pleasant. As I was waiting in the check out, I noticed that the line was taking longer than usual. Come to find out they had left a new hire alone at the cashier. The poor young man was alone for almost an hour and was unable to get someone to help him. He even tried to find someone to come help, but no one came. Eventually, a woman with purple streaks in her hair (who seemed like the manager) came over to help. She should NOT have left him alone at the cashier to begin with, or they should have double checked the schedule to ensure this situation would not happen. This is very disappointing. JCPenney, please treat your new hires better, or plan...
