Walgreens — Local services in Bremen Township

My boyfriend and I use this Walgreens regularly since my brother used to work at this location. My brother left about a half a year ago, and yet today the employees were loudly and explicitly making negative comments about not only my brother but my parents as well. I was about three aisles away from the employees speaking from behind the photo station, and yet I could still very clearly hear the ignorant comments they were making about things that my parents supposedly do when they come to the store. (I'll spare the details). They even made an extra effort to add into the conversation where my brother currently works, which then completely confirmed to me that they were talking about my family. I am unsure if the girls purposely started their conversation because they saw me in the store and wanted to make it a point for me to hear, or weren't conscious of their surroundings even to know there was a family member of the very people they were gossiping about. Whether what they were saying is true or not about my family, I am unaware. Though, whether is it or not, I find it completely unacceptable and unprofessional for store employees to publicly be disrespecting people. You have a breakroom, or learn how to whisper! This pharmacy deserves negative stars, that's how awful they are. Another awful experience today. I'm at the drive thru 5 minutes before they open, actually what should be said is I was there 5 minutes before they are supposed to open, they technically are never organized enough to open on time. The girl finally opens the window and completely ignores me and stands at the register facing the store. No surprise there, it's the same blond who basically said she could care less about getting my husband his cancer drugs on time. Then rushes in the Hispanic chic who is always late and can never sign in to the computer. So I give up drive around to the front of the store and go in. Service still awful, shorted me on one of my prescriptions and then instead of checking why makes up this elaborate story. She was the corrected by another worker with the real reason. Honestly do something about these awful employees who are supposed to be in the health care industry helping people instead of hurting them. This Walgreens pharmacy is so inept, i’m wondering if they are licensed. On Friday morning the veterans clinic of Oaklawn called in a prescription, i called walgreens pharmacy shortly there after and they pharmacy said no prescription exist in my name, Saturday i called and asked the same, the pharmacy again said no prescription exist. i sent a secure message to my Doctor at the Va explaining that the prescription wasn’t sent from them the Va. Today the 10th The Doctor called and said Walgreens pharmacy told them that they put the prescription in the wrong name. I called back to walgreens and they said yes it was available but they walgreens don’t honor the Va Insurance. Diabetes meds over 200$ How ever all the illegals get free medications from walgreens but a honorably discharged veteran medicine is not covered . walgreens obviously hate Veterens but love them some illegals. i frequented walgreens however over this me and all my family members agree never to shop walgreens...
