We couldn’t believe they had hog head cheese. We were so excited. My first time here the young kid that helped me was really nice. I asked for $10 worth of meat & I asked him not to cut it to thick. He sliced about 3 pieces then showed me & I asked to cut it a lil thinner & he did. He puts it on the scale & it’s almost $12. I said that’s fine. Second time. I ask for $10 worth of meat & not to cut it thick. Same thing as before. He cuts a few slices then I ask if he could cut it thinner, he did. He said the slicer is on level 5, so when I come back to ask that they put the slicer on 5. That was a perfect slice & I liked it. Once again instead of $10 it was almost $12, ok again, whatever!! Last & final time. I will never go here again. First off my $10 order yet again is almost $12 so now I know this a scam. How do three different people pull the same scheme, that’s their practice!! I asked the guy to slice the meat on #5. When I tell you this guy cut that meat so thick, I was pissed. So watch out when you go here. They lost my business. I had went there once a week for three weeks. They got me for $36 but they won’t get another...

While staying on Lake Somerville, we decided to drive into Brenham and check out Dan’s meat market. While there we picked up several items one being the fresh sausage they make and cannot wait to get it cooked and try it. The lady working behind the counter was so pleasant and nice, and then I believe the gentleman that came in might’ve been her husband and was very helpful and full of information.
