Toubin Park — Attraction in Brenham

I love that so much has been made of relatively little. This is just a little slice of a park - really just the space between two buildings - but it's delightful. Green and lush and quiet and there's the constant sound of splashing water from the two fountains (well, they're more like pumps than fountains, but they're more decorative now than useful). This park is really interesting and informative. It is a historic cistern and the history of cisterns in the city. The park has a significant amount of historic information on plaques around the cistern. It also is a nice place to sit between buildings.
