Worst experience ever. It was my mothers visitation & funeral as to the reason we used The Flower Market. We went in there ordered what we wanted . Gave them time, place and date as to when we needed it there by. And because it was short notice we asked if they could do it. She said yes. We needed it there early am before 10am on Saturday. She said she would have it there on time. I paid and she asked us nothing else besides . We left assuming that was done. Our family arrived at the family visitation and there were no spray on my mothers casket. So my sister called the florist and was very upset. The florist said she could have it there by 12 noon. My sister said no she doesnt want them then due to the visitation for family is over at 12 noon. Plus she was saying if she brought it on saturday it wouldnt last thru monday of her funeral. My sister was very emotional so she asked me to call. By the time i finished our conversation she was told to take our spray and another order of flowers to funeral home on Sunday before 8am so they would last till monday. She also admitted that the reason she didnt deliver them as WE THE CUSTOMER specified was because others ordered items for our mothers funeral and gave a different date to have there order delivered and that she looked on orbituary and it had another date. She chose to change the date of delivery of our order with out our permission. The 2nd thing she never asked for a number of contact at time we ordered so she could contact us. I asked her whose fault is it that she went by others and not what we said & whos fault is it that she didnt get a contact number from us. She finally admitted it was her 2 mistakes that lead to this issue. None was our fault. But she preferred to argue than admitt her wrong doings. I said now that its been established where everything went wrong and who was at fault. Now lets find a solution. So we decided that she would deliver both orders before 8am on sunday. But because she seen how upset my sister was she insisted on delivering some flowers at no charge by 1030am that same day on saturday for the family visitation we originally wanted it for. So i said that would make her happy thank you. Well no flowers arrived at 1030am of which she said were out of her pocket. But yet the spray arrive at 12 noon on saturday when we told her no no no not to bring till sunday am before 8am due to her saying it wouldnt last thru monday. Then at 11am on sunday we arrive and still no flowers from her pocket were there nor was the other order that we told her to deliver before 8am on sunday. I called her immediately on saturday after hours when we realized she brought spray against my orders and left a message for her to call me. I called her on Sunday at 1130am to inform her that the others flowers never arrived before 8am for guest to enjoy and that we were very upset with the constant lack of execution of our specifications as to times and days. I asked her for 2nd time to call me asap. We were already syressed then to have to deal with this was rediculous. Well monday was my mothers funeral and no call, today is tuesday and no call. I recommend no one use them ever. This was a funeral and she didnt care enough to follow our instructions 3 times, no apologies, no return calls, nothing. Not good customer service at all. This was my 1st time ordering from them and too many issues arised that it was agrivating. We could forgive 1 but 3 and her lack of respect for what we were going thru. She could of said my mistake i will fix it and ensure nothing else goes wrong and you get what you want when you want. But nope we got more issues one after another.The other order arrived sunday late afternoon when they should have been there early am. I told her what families want to her in that emotional state is for her to immediately accept responsibilty not argue or defend her unprofessional way of following others instructions not ours and fix problem. The owner and designer of this shop has the most beautiful eye for arranging. Having had several opportunities to see her arrangements (my husband always uses her to give me flowers) I recommended her to my future daughter-in-law for her upcoming wedding and the arrangements were exactly what she wanted and a more than reasonable price. She also did my nephews wedding with the same outstanding results. I can't say enough how talented she is in hearing what people want and making it a reality. My family had gone in there to get quotes for my wedding, they made an appointment and drove all the way up there just for the owner to say she doesn’t have time to look at our pictures and she won’t have time to do my wedding. Just an awful woman. She was very rude and short with them. She threw the book at them and said “just look at the pictures, I have to finish this arrangement”. We took our business elsewhere.
