We regularly dine at this restaurant, usually ordering General Tso's chicken and Angel Hair shrimp Lo Mein. On a Saturday July 19, 2025 we placed our usual order, but it was mistakenly prepared as Angel Hair beef Lo Mein.
When we informed the staff about the incorrect dish, an employee was sent to communicate that, unfortunately, we could not receive the dish we had paid $16 for, nor could we get a refund. The owners, who were present in the back, refused to speak with us. Eventually, one of the owners, referred to as the "dragon lady," came out and told us she was tired of us and to leave and would call the police for trespassing. I told her to go ahead and do it; we were paying customers who had done nothing wrong.
The employee who initially came to speak with us expressed hesitation, saying they didnāt want to take any action because the "dragon lady" might have us arrested. I should mention that I am allergic to beef, and I avoid it at Chinese restaurants because I canāt eat it as most places prepare it. I specifically ordered shrimp, and I always order the same dish based on our history.
It was frustrating to know that we left with the wrong order despite having already paid. I didn't want to eat the beef Lo Mein, especially after they took it back to the kitchen when we pointed out the mistake. It felt unreasonable that they nickel-and-dimed us, refusing to remake the order, considering the ingredients had already been paid for. Moreover, they have customers pick up their orders, which seems to be a way to avoid paying waitstaff. Overall, it was a disappointing experience to have paid for a meal that I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moretoday (8-24-2015), was my first time going and I would like to say that the appearence is very nice from the inside. it looks somewhat upscale but not fancy. that was the only good thing about this place.
The staff needs some more training on customer service, although my waitress was polite. its just they all had a faces like they didn't care if you know what i mean.
I came to eat dinner today at 6pm. and its was horrible, most of the food was cold or somewhat warm. you could assume the food had been sitting there all day.
fried rice was over cooked -cream puffs were cold -general toas chicken was somewhat warm and really sweet -the only that seemed freshly made was the shrimp and broccoli, that was good -the asparagus had not taste -the buffet does not have a lot to offer -chicken and broccoli was disgusting
the glass cups they use for drinks are a bit odd. they kind of resemble a "pimp cup" (google that to get an idea). they could have just used regular glass cups.
and to top of the bad/ok food, was the $11.95 per person price (dinner price). At this price, I should have just went to a restaurant but I wanted to try this place out. I just felt this place was just way way over priced. It should be in $6-$7.95 price range.
Also when you pay... If you pay with cash they give you a 3% discount but if you use your debit/credit card they do not. if you know about card reader machines then you can kind of figure out why they do that.
I hope this helps...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately, this establishment does not honor Military Veterans. I provided a valid driverās license that has āveteranā on it, pulled up an email attachment of my dd214, showed my VA Identification card, and offered to have them look at my license plates that have āDVā on them and says, āDisabled Veteran U.S. Armed Forcesā but was told that the Owner will not accept those as proof of ID for serving in the Military. Apparently the Owner only accepts the āgray cardā as proof. I asked the manager what they accept in lieu of the gray card considering everyone does not have a gray card and he said nothing. You must be in uniform or show the gray card. Not that itās a huge issue, but considering it was my first time visiting, Iām going to make it my last. My intent was to order from there for a huge event coming up, but Iāll gladly...
