Poor customer service - (Fatima)
I set an appointment in advance came in previously spoke with some of the girls that worked in the salon that are doing hair. I explained what I wanted only add Accent Highlight and get it deep condition. They all agreed it was manageable recommended deep condition treatment afterwards helped me choose the best options for me and set my appointment a week later. They confirmed and explained the process and how long it would take and my new look would look fantastic on me. They saw me in person and saw my hair said to come in get it done.
On my appointment my hairstylist was late. She had friends or family waiting on her. She had no idea what my appointment was for. We had a consultationr ( I came in for Accent Highllights, deep condition treatment and blowout style). She didn't seem confident in doing my hair. She said it was going to take longer than the process they close at 6 pm it was 2pm. I was told the appointment was going be (2 hr & 45 mins) She said she had to do color correction and needed to add serval process. It would take up to 3 months of coming in back and fourth to the salon to do extra coloring. She said she could not reach my desire hair color or look at all it would be a lighter brown still dark because the products they have couldn't light my hair color. Because she believes my hair was to dark. It's a plain medium dark brown level 3.i want a few highlights in the front Accent Highlight. I showed her an example and explained what I wanted.
There was no miscommunication. She didn't seem to care and understand what I was there for. It sounds like she was making excuses finding reasons not to do my hair. I just wanted a few Accent Highlight in golden blonde level 6 which is possible to accomplish I got done before else where. She told me she cared about me and wanted me to think about what I wanted to do and am I willing to invest more then $500 or more into my hair. They have a brochure with prices for their services. She said she was educating me. She said I would have to get full highlights for my whole head. And .maybe some kind of hair treatment. She said i would need ifting process and color correction and was talking nonsense after that. I didn't ask and I didn't need added orcextra service of the unnecessary process donde to my hair refused her dumb ideas. Her coworkers asked what happened why she didn't get her done. She told them another one that didn't know what I wanted and will come back when ready. I didn't get any service from here. I don't plan to ever do so.
I was able to book an appointment somewhere else that can get the job done tomorrow.
From my experience I will never come here to get any hair and makeup service. Just to buy...
Read more7/2/22 on my break i ran into Ulta to buy some cologne for my husbands birthday. I came in and was greeted by security, and to my left a woman at the curbside station i asked for help so I can be in and out. She nicely assisted me but as I was going to check out one cologne had a censor on it and the other did not. She advised that it was ok to keep the censored one but sheâll put the other at the counter. I didnât fuss however I was disgusted. Iâm literally in my work uniform. Name tag + badge. If i wasnât shopping per the occasion, I wouldâve dropped it all and went somewhere else! Cant believe I have a line of credit with this company w/ the reoccurring prejudice service i get when I come in this place.
12/9/22And again, this establishment is not friendly to fair and dark toned individuals. I came in on my break to grab some serum, NAME BADGE AND UNIFORM ON and two employees are guarding me while Iâm shopping options in the aisle. Particularly the associate whoâs towering over me stands 5â11 and 250+ lbs intimidatingly stood in the aisle waiting for me to be finished shopping until she also decided to ask me if I needed help. Iâm heavily considering to close my credit line with Ulta after this season. Itâs not a coincidence that EVERYTIME I shop here Iâm being harassed. Iâve worked customer service and LP for years. Itâs sad to experience improperly trained associates stereotyping customers. Staring, being indirect and lacking genuine interaction, quick to figure out what a shopper is doing/ touching, assisting a sale w/ no intent to problem solve. The next time I walk into this place and experience this I will be contacting superiors and addressing this...
Read moreThe overall friendliness and experience here has bettered. At some point of my shopping I had to find someone for a lip sharpenerâ all of the testers were broken. The cashier referred me to the Mac section where I met another employee whom had walked off when I heard the cashier radio her to help me. Resharpened all of the lip pencils and went on my way.
( Please stop assuming customers are supposed to know certain things. We donât work for Ulta. You do. Be helpful when youâre supposed to be, otherwise stop staring while people shop if youâre insufficient)
My visit was to swap some products that didnât work for me and when making it to the counter, I met with an impatient cashier with no line and no break to attend. Iâm trying to sort through my dupes vs. needs and she rushed me by grabbing my shopper to lay everything out. Thereâs no counter tops in Ulta otherwise I wouldâve done this before getting to the front since itâs such a big issue. But since the Ulta experience is to excitingly shop, fill up a medium size tote youâd think theyâd be happy youâre buying. Anyway..
My cashier seemed annoyed when I mentioned my exchange. Keep in mind Iâve had no reaction. Once my purchase was completed the cashier, Journey, shoved the bag in my hand to rush me off.
No rush hour, not busy, looked like they were doing floor sets but there were plenty available employees to assist. Not sure why it was such a hassle to help find a sharpener and process an exchange.
There were two very helpful floor assoc. who helped me when I first got in, but on my way out the last two were very impatient as well as...
