The single star is for the food. The service was absolutely atrocious. Rocky L, our “server,” if one can classify him as that, was disgustingly inattentive. We did not receive any silverware until after our appetizers/food was brought out. Rocky L seemed to forget that I was drinking water, refilled my glass only once, and did not offer to refill my friends’ Pepsi or Strawberry Lemonade. When additional food was ordered, Rocky L then said aloud, in a sarcastic manner for others around to hear, “Lobster and nachos coming right up!” Worst of all, Rocky L seemed to want to get revenge on the people that provide him his paycheck (us, as guests) via overcharging. My friend and I told Rocky L to split the bill down the middle (a simple request where we would each pay half, requiring very little math skills), but, two days later, I noticed that my bank charges me the full amount ($105.75 instead of $52.88)! This took place last Thursday (12/12) so I called on Sat (12/14) as soon as I became aware of the issue. The manager informed me that the corporate office was closed on weekends but that he would follow up with me and follow up with Rocky L. Today (Mon 12/16), I called back and spoke to a different manager who told me he would look into it. He later calls me to say that my friend’s card was not charged and that even though it was their fault, that it would be easier for them if I just contacted my friend and resolved the issue that way. After all I’ve been through, why should I have to do anything else? I hope that Rocky L is terminated, or, at the very least, severely disciplined for his incompetence/revenge fantasies. Rocky L should not be working in an environment like this, perhaps not even around people in general. Perhaps a better career choice for Rocky L would be something where he can be alone, such as a lighthouse keeper or something una related field. This was my first time here and I am never going to return to this place. I’d much rather go to McDonalds or Burger King and spend $6-$8 for fast food and good service than spend $105.75 for idiocy, food that I did not personally consume, and to deal with people like Rocky L who perhaps are unhappy in their personal life and choose to take it...
Read moreMy family's reservation was at 7:45pm for a party of 4. We checked in @ exactly 7:40 (so they led me to believe). After hearing several names being called for party of 2, in walks a party of 4 and has a seat at a dirty table next to the door. Still being looked at (making eye to eye with one of the hostesses, never coming to address me any form) and over looked, the bus boy goes to clean off the table where the party of 4 sat "without being seated" and not only cleans the table but also hands each one of them a menu. After another 15 minutes goes by and now a party of 5 is called to be seated and they showed up almost 30 minutes after we (an AFRICAN American family) were RESERVED TO BE SEATED AT 7:45. Trying to be patient and keep it together I walked to the check-in counter and ask "what the hell is going on and how much longer does my family need to wait to be seated for our 7:45 reservation" ! There were 2 young ladies and an older gentleman at the check-in. One of the girls had the audacity to ask me if I had a reservation and the gentlemen acknowledged me saying "I remember her checking-in because I remember commenting on how pretty her nails were". Both girls looked puzzled as only one of them was present at initial check-in. The gentlemen told a tall young blonde girl who was present at check-in (the one that kept looking at me) to go see if there was something available. Gone less than 5 minutes she quickly says follow me. Passing about 6 OPEN tables and 4 OPEN booths she seats us ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK OF THE RESTAURANT ! SEATED @ 8:30, ORDER TAKEN @ 8:40 IT'S NOW 9:20 AND WE'RE STILL WAITING ON (2) 1/2 RACKS OF BABY BACK RIBS & (2) BURGERS 1 OF WHICH WAS FROM THE KIDS MENU. Read moreOpen Table reservation and arrival was honored and as expected. The restaurant was busy for Father’s Day but our server saw us right away. Our dinner was going well until our server went on break and the person breaking him took over. We never got help while our server went on break and this was very upsetting. The server asked if we wanted more bread before he went on break and the bread never came. We needed drink refills and wanted to order more drinks, but no one bothered to walk by or even look at us at our table. The tables next to ours was visited 2-3x by servers but no one bothered to check on us at our table. I finally stopped and asked a busser to please call our server and yet still NO ONE CAME. I reached out to speak to the manager. As the manager came to the table, our food came as well. After explaining to the manager, Marz, about how we have not been helped since our server went on break, she didn’t show a single bit of care or compassion, she just barked at me, “so what do you want now?” Wow. She should not be working in the industry with that type of attitude towards customers. The food wasn’t even that great.
