Zakson's Fine Furniture and Interior Design — Local services in Brick Township

I have been shopping at Zakson’s fine furniture for 15 years, since I built my new home. The shopping experience at this store is fantastic. The showroom is beautiful and put together like rooms in a house, so customers can see what a piece of furniture will look like complete with lighting, accessories, and window treatments. The store hosts an array of brands to satisfy many price points and offers custom options as well. Their staff is finely trained and includes interior designers, furniture specialists, and a helpful back office. Recently, I have been working with Elaina Armantrading to purchase furniture for my family room. She is so creative and has come up with wonderful ideas to make my room comfortable and attractive as well as practical. She has made house calls to take measurements, to make sure the furniture would fit perfectly as well as to deliver samples of fabric to try out in my home. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from that place. They treat you as queen before the purchase. The minute you pay they are not willing to take any responsibility and will not honor any returns. The table I ordered came with different finish that I ordered and totally different quality than the sample I got. They said I came to them and ordered table and I’m responsible for what I got. You would expect a bit more from a designer house where you spend way more than other stores and therefore expect quality. Please make sure you read the contract before you pay. In my frantic search of a Dining Room Set in time for Christmas, after a failed promise by another Furniture store, I stumbled into Zaksons Steve the owner did a tremendous job in assisting me. Very patient and accommodating. He looked into every possibility available to have a set in less than 3 weeks. He put my mind at ease when placing the order that it would be in from the manufacturer and in my home by the 18th of December! He is a man of his word!
