We ordered a bed on June 14 saying it will be here in 4-6 weeks. After the 6 week window, I started calling to inquire where my bed is. Never got through to corporate as I was always on hold for more than 10 minutes. So I called the Bridgewater Store in NJ where I had originally made the purchase. They offered to call corporate to find out what happened to my order. A week later they said, yes it's on back-order and did not know when it would arrive. I continued to call to inquire where my order was. On Aug. 8th I called for the 4th time to ask where the bed was and she said it will be here between aug. 23-30 and for me to call back and we'll be compensated upon receipt. Bed finally arrived Aug. 28th. I called back to the store on the 28th, where the associate manager, said he does not compensate and that I'd have to call Corporate. The saga continues....he was no help - didn't offer to call them for me, didn't apologize for the delay, did not want to hear my story at all. They delivered a dining table worth thousands of dollars with a color defect.
After weeks of back and forth, they accepted their product had a defect and agreed to exchange.
They gave me a replacement window in February. Today 2/27 I called and the customer service rep said they don't know where my replacement table is and also don't know when it will truly arrive - could be end of March or beyond.
I explained my frustration but the rep sounded like he has heard this story from many customers before.
I asked for a refund and have an appointment next week for them to come and get their defective table.
This was my first and last purchase from Pottery Barn. I learned this company has poor products and poor customer service - the 2 basic things that all customers should note and run away from.

Now I’m dealing with chairs that have been delayed twice...over three months since I placed the order and I just found out they will be delayed another three weeks.
