3 PM on black Friday after the rush we went to the store. We needed to do the last of our Christmas shopping due to my wife being 34 weeks pregnant with twins and going on bed rest. We go around the store that is mildly busy and grab the present we came for. When we got to the front they had a corded off area over half the stores length for a non existant line while a half a dozen registers weren't even being used. They told us no that we had to go to the end and enter the line that didn't exist. I told them that was unreasonable and that registers didn't even have people at them. So we went around and made my poor wife travel the length of the store back and forth. Maybe people don't realize but at 34 weeks pregnant with twins there is a lot of swelling and discomfort and it is difficult to get around, plus you measure much larger than a woman at 40 weeks with a singleton. I was upset and decided to talk to management about the empathy of her employees. I called multiple times to talk to the manager and was hung up on repeatedly. So instead of keeping this private I want to make sure that patrons and corporate know about how disabled people are treated at target. There are so many chances for remediation and...
Read moreI called in today to check the availability of an item. I had the name of it, the size, and brand. When I got ahold of the department I was calling for, the women was already annoyed and I hadn't even said anything yet. When I described what it was she huffed and said "do you got a number for the item? Or brand? There's a lot of stuff here." I told her the brand and she huffed again. I could practically feel her eyes roll. The tone of her voice wasn't friendly and she acted like I was a huge inconvenience. So I hung up. I didn't mind waiting the fifteen minutes it took for her to answer the call because I understand that things get busy and you can't get to the phone right away. But I work in customer service too and the only thing that makes things run smoothly is if you're kind and patient to your customers. She wasn't and I am dissapointed in the experience. Target, despite all of the hacks, has always been a nice place to shop. I will continue to shop here because I've always had a good experience with everybody else in the store. I've never reviewed any store because I always make sure to give people the benefit of the doubt but she was unnecessarily...
Read moreWhile I normally love Target and have spent a lot of time and money there over the years, Iâm pretty disappointed in the sales promotion where you get a gift card back after buying certain items. Iâm pretty careful to make sure Iâm spending the correct amount and buying the items listed under the signage. Today I bought the Cascade (must be at least 10.49 and my pack was 12.99) and a pack of bounty papertowels (must spen 12.99 and mine were over $16). I did not get the $5 gift card and when I asked I was told that the items werenât eligible because they didnât highlight red on the app. I tried to show her the sign that indicated they were applicable and she just shrugged her shoulders and said sorry. Then she showed me on my app where I could have saved $15 if I was paying attention, but never offered to work with me to use the coupon on my purchase. Usually they are pretty nice about this stuff and willing to admit there is something not right about the advertising,...
