This location is clean, organized, and full of great deals. The staff is friendly and though it can get quite busy, you don't really have to wait that long (in line) comparatively. You will notice that all ALDI stores are quite smaller than your average grocery store, which is one way they are able to keep costs down. Same with the amount of employees you will find inhabiting the store. There aren't many and that is okay because the way this shopping experience is designed, there doesn't need to be more.
Be sure to bring shopping bags with you if you don't want to buy them from ALDI as they are not provided for free. Sometimes you will find extra boxes and what not in the bagging area that you can use to get whatever you buy from the store into your vehicle. Be sure to also bring a quarter (yes a quarter). You will need one of these in order to gain access to a shopping cart. This prevents the parking lot (and parking spaces) from being taken up by cart corrals, and stray carts like you might find at many other shopping locations (especially grocery stores). Take your cart back inside, get your quarter back and go on your merry way. I love this concept personally, and cannot figure out why others haven't adopted it.
I find ALDI to be a relatively cheaper alternative to your bigger box grocery stores, and my kids and I cannot even tell the difference between "name brand" and most of what ALDI carries (and my kids are super picky).
You will also find that many items are marked as limited and change quite frequently, which in my opinion is awesome because it gives you a wider variety of what you can find at a cheaper price.
This location will for sure be my go to stop when I need to replenish the family...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAldi is great for what it is which is a mini Costco but devoid of entitled people aimlessly wandering around and not paying attention to what they're doing. The only drawback is that you don't have much of a selection compared to a regular grocery store. But what they do have is it usually beats all other grocery stores on price. You're not going to get top tier because all of their merchandise is generic brand but it's still decent quality. I go therefore specialty items like Tzaki Greek yogurt, some specialty cheeses, and every once in a while they'll have something you can't find anywhere else like a different kind of dessert or some weird frozen food. Just beware that it's not a comprehensive grocery shopping experience. If you need a few things like tomato sauce, soup, bread, lettuce, eggs, milk go to ALDI and pick that stuff up for a good price. Also, it's like Costco in that there's nobody there to help you do anything. They run a minimal staff, so it's pretty much self-serve, and that's why you get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI prefer this location over the Howell location in aspect of what Iām looking for every week. But I give it a 3 star review because I donāt think the workers all around are very friendly. Yes, they standardly greet you, but then Iāve heard one impatient raise their voice at a customer that didnāt hear them the first time they said something, and then throwing my items into my cart. I know they want to be quick. And thatās fine. But I donāt like feeling rushed at checkout. The fact they push my cart away? Why? They push it away when Iām still paying. I get glass items and carbonated items and breads and they just throw/slam them into the cart. My mother canāt stand that either. I donāt understand why they have to be aggressive with the check out process. No one else is in a rush there. Just be friendly, smile, and slow down a tad, please. I almost dropped all of my money and purse today because my cashier was rushing me out of the line. I just wish they wouldnāt...
