I have done business with Aaron's in the past and have always had a pleasant experience until this eve on 2/13/26 at the Bristol Va store around 6:30 pm. I came over right after work, I waited until my paycheck went through, the very respectful and professional sales rep John, whom I had been speaking with for the past couple of weeks was not there, another young man was working, he was very abrupt with me, I was inquiring about a range, it been marked up from the original price, first I said John told me he would the price within 10.00 at 90 a month, this young man said I doubt you will get it that low, he called the manager, he said we can do 99.00, I was still going to get the range, but I told him I wanted to the every 4 weeks on my payday, he said, "that's not our policy, you will have to do every two weeks", I said I bought a washer and dryer two years ago and paid same time once a month, he said" well, things have changed, we are under new management and he won't allow that" and mind you he is saying this with smart ellic attitude, and" we are meeting you half way, I guess I could work with half down payment" I never said anything about half of first payment, John already told me the payment would be the full payment, and scheduled monthly payments, but this guy was just acting like I don't want deal with you, I felt he was trying to take advantage of me, which was completely different from John, John made me feel he wanted my business and me feel welcomed, this young man made feel you can take or leave it and I don't care. I have been a nurse in Bristol for over 24 years, I a.m single mother with adult handicapp twins, but I am not white trash and I willnot be treated like that, I have a refrigerator coming from Aaron's Monday, because I need I will keep it, I just called Home Depot they have same range almost 3 times less, and is going set it up where I can pay it off completely in 6 months, so thank dude that was working...

I have asked to switch the set and apply the money to a different set and they refuse. The person I have been working with in the store has tried to help, she went to managers above her and they are the ones that refuse to do anything.
