I was initially excited about the opportunity to work at Vestique Brookhaven after receiving very positive feedback during the interview process. I was led to believe that my candidacy was being seriously considered, and I was told to wait until the end of summer for a decision. However, after weeks of inconsistent communication and being repeatedly strung along, I had to follow up multiple times just to receive a final response. Despite promises of feedback, none was ever given.
The lack of professionalism throughout this process was disappointing, and it has left me questioning whether this treatment was motivated by prejudice. As someone who comes from a different background, I couldn’t help but feel that this may have influenced the decision, especially given how I was treated in comparison to the initial feedback I received.
I believe the owners may not be aware of how poorly candidates are being treated, and I hope this review prompts them to address these issues and foster a more respectful, inclusive hiring process...

Cute clothes but the sales girls are truly airheads. They asked customers who were still shopping if they wanted them to hold their clothes in a fitting room. No one asked me anything. So after carrying pants I wanted to try on, I ask for a dressing room and was told the dressing room was occupied. No one was in the fitting room. Just clothes. I had one pair of pants I could have tried on in 2 min. I’ve worked in retail and I can’t tell you how backwards this is. These girls are not in the business of selling either that or they are racist. After not receiving the items for a few days, I reached out to the customer service team and was helped right away! I have never really had shipping issues before, and hardly ever work with customer service teams, but Cheyenne was a DELIGHT to work with!!
