My pal and I came here last week. One disappointing variable: I went to the website 2x+ in anticipation of our visit. I was sure to click on the Boston Location [as there are several] and saw an A La Carte menu. My mouth watered as I decided on my order...only to arrive and learn this is the NY menu. It was a let-down. If there is an IT way to remove that menu from within the Boston screen, I would recommend that. Other than this, I will be returning in the next 30 days. Before you assess that you have to be an illegitimate Trump offspring to come here, Marky's really does attempt to make this accessible--which in this economy is bold and impressive. Starting with the environment: It is cozy and regal without being pretentious. This is a SMALL place. There is a bench with two tables attached and you are submerged in royal blue with gold accents. This would be great for date night or a group of 4-6 people. It is easily intimate and feels like a private space. There are some affordable options and the gentleman is very available for questions. He was kind and did not question why we were not wearing ascots! There are also retail treats that you could enjoy with the caviar [in addition to the accoutrements]. My pal and I ordered two types and still water and the bill was split $87 each [sans tip]. Again, to prevent shock for others, the still water is priced at $6/8. It is Voss and while I was not expecting to pay for water, the contaminants may impact the taste of the caviar, so some battles are best left alone. Next time, I will request more blinis but I do not know if this is an additional charge. I hope this place can thrive and it is across Far Out ice cream, for a perfect summer evening out in Brookline. Thanks Marky's and welcome...

Read moreNew Caviar 'bar' opened in...well...Brookline of all places, and a chain which came from NYC's location. Apparently the NYC location has a kitchen, so their menu online is specifically for NYC. The Brookline location has a very limited 'menu', just caviar and wine. It is more of a small caviar specialty shop. We selected two different caviar, Siberian Sturgeon and Smoked Rainbow Trout. The very nice man put together the set for us with blini, creme fraiche, shallots, chives, and eggs. Both caviar selections are delicious, full flavored and not fishy at all. I preferred the sturgeon myself. While everything was good, I would not do it again, as this is a tasting spot only. I would buy their caviar for special occasions, as they were quite good, and I can understand more of the appeal of a good...
