I'll give this 2 stars because the place was clean, I was able to get in immediately without waiting, and the guys were nice/polite/friendly. BUT! I honestly cannot rate the massage itself because I'm still trying to decide to-what-level I hated it. My 10 minute chair massage started immediately, without any "consultation." I tried twice to point out a small problem area in my shoulder, but was never acknowledged. A second masseuse immediately started "massaging" my left arm by quickly moving up and down my arm with both his hands, pinching hard! I asked for lighter pressure from both him and the person working on my back, but was ignored. The guy working on my arm stopped after about 30 seconds of pinching, and told me that if he continued it would be an additional $12 charge -- I said no. He accepted that, slapped my arm about 6 times, and walked away. LOL! I truly believe this gesture was intended to be a friendly "pat" on my arm, like a goodbye, but he literally hit my arm so hard it made a slapping sound on my bare skin. Ouch! As far as the actual massage -- I asked for lighter pressure 3 separate times in 10 minutes and never received relief. I worked in a spa for 9 years, and have had many amazing massages -- I hate to say it, but this gentleman did not seem to be trained. I thought several times that I should get up and walk out; now I'm sorry I didn't. The pain I've been in for the past 24 hours is similar to a time when I fell backward, landing hard! on my back, while hiking. I really hate to complain like this, but my concern is for the safety of your clientele! This service was poorly executed, and if I had to guess, both masseuses had little-to-no knowledgeable of the muscles they were working on. Additionally, the gentleman working on my back was unable to conduct a massage that provided both the correct amount of pressure needed for the service to be enjoyable and relaxing, but also the appropriate amount of pressure needed to properly relieve the small knot in my shoulder. I would not return, nor would I recommend this business. If you are seeking massage, I highly recommend you spend the extra money to go to a nice, professional day-spa; and know that proper treatment of your body in massage is super important! A bad massage can be worse for you than having no...
Read moreI have been a faithful customer for over a year now and I am immensely disturbed by a recent chain of events with this business. Let first say that there are some masseuse's who are very good, but it is a system where no one individual gets any recognition for doing good work. The reason I'm giving this only 1 star is because of their dishonesty. Originally, when they started with their punch cards you got a punch for every 10 minutes. Evidently this changed, but no one working there bothers to tell anyone, claiming they don't understand what you are asking. It's always perplexed me and I think consumer's need to start speaking with their wallets. The worker marked a date that had already been stamped instead of stamping a new circle and I called him out on it, and they pleaded, they didn't know what I was saying. I thought I'd give them 1 more try, walked in and they were busy, but no one said, be with you in a minute, or we have a 20 min. wait, try the other location in the mall. I left, telling them I would try the location by the food court. I recognized it was one of the workers that literally does the same move the entire 10 minutes, so I left. Went back again for that last try and asked for 20 minutes. Thinking 10 I would pay for and 10 would be my free one, and they said to me, come back and use the free one the next time. Please. speak with your wallet and don't go here, let them know we value customer service, loyalty and honesty in Broomfield. I am just puzzled why it seems they are trying to displease me, I always leave a very generous tip, I even talk a little Chinese I pick up on at my job. All I can think is, I discovered that a masseuse named William, who is very good, and I started requesting him and I don't think they liked that. Everyone is equal don't ya know. I find it interesting how there are no responses from the owners for any of the dissatisfied reviews. No responses at all. I have noticed this pattern in nail salons too, they don't listen to you, it's like you have no voice in these businesses. They make no effort to try and understand what you are asking and they don't seem to care what the customer has to say anyway. More recently, the quality of the masseuse's has gone way down and I am certain there are people working there with no massage...
Read moreI went to get a $12.00 10 minute massage. Once I layed my head face down in the head rest and the lady started working on me some guy came out of nowhere that wasn't even there when I walked up and started working on my arm. He started talking about the massage and said $24.00 okay? I said "the $12.00 is fine." They continued to work on me and it was very hard and painful. My arm muscles were sore from lifting weights last night and the guy was going SO HARD! Finally the timer goes off the lady leaves and the guy continues to work on me for about 1 minute more. When I get up to pay sure enough to my horror he says it's going to be $24.00 I said "No, I asked for the $12.00 one." He corrected me and I just paid it because I was not about to aruge with someone who barely spoke english who wasn't going to let me win. Right before my massage was over this couple walked up and I believe asked for the same massage. On my way out I said "be careful, he'll overcharge you." The guy says "really?" And I said "Yeah! He just charged me $24.00 for a $12.00 massage" as I walked away. I called my bank on the way home and explained the situation and the girl completely agreed with me. I got credited for the $12.00 an hour later and I highly suggest none of you go to the massage place in the flatirons mall (neither one of them they are the same business) unless you want to be scammed. I was going to give them a $2.00 tip but since they are scammers they only got $12.00 from me and I hope that couple walked...
