Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Broomfield

I have been eating at this place for years and it has never let me down. For a mall food court fast food restaurant, this place is amazing. Reading some of these other bad reviews is why I am writing this one. Food poisoning is not an upset stomach and feeling of “being full”, it is food borne bacteria that will make you very sick, ie vomit or diarrhea, actually sick. This is a fast food restaurant, the food is on the greasier side and less healthy side, as expected. Leaving a poor review because you did not know this prior, or your sensitive stomach does not like this sort of food is in no way appropriate and reflect any wrong doing by the restaurant. That is like going to McDonald’s and writing a poor review because their food didn’t make you healthy. To the people who wrote poor reviews of the presentation of their sushi, you are eating sushi from a mall food court in the middle of the US... the sushi is actually pretty decent considering what they are working with. However, the original restaurant (non sushi) does a fantastic job of customer service, cooking your food fresh in front of you, and they cook some damn good chicken teriyaki. Some of these reviews are absolutely ridiculous, sorry you did not receive the same treatment you would at a Michelin restaurant while Black Friday shopping with your family at a shopping mall. This restaurant has perfected their food that they serve and deserve a lot of credit for what they are working with, a 10 foot long store front and a small flat top grill. I hope the owner reads this...I have eaten here for over 10 years and the quality of the white rice has declined, its not as "sticky" as it was a few years ago and is a bit overcooked now. It used to have a nutty taste but no flavor now. I hate how they store a pile of cooked chicken off to the side and don't reheat it long enough. I also wonder how long that pile of chicken has sat around. I feel like the chicken should be stir fried fresh, not "recooked" once a customer comes around. Also, please go back to offering the rooster Sriracha...the little packets you have now on the line is the worst tastig Sriracha!! Sad that this place seems to be...

Have been going here for a decade and this past time my mom got the shrimp. She said it tasted like cleaner. She went to the cashier and they were very nice about replacing it for her and gave her extra chicken to cover how much the shrimp was, BUT some pieces of the chicken tasted a bit off to me like lemon cleaner or something. Idk I really think that’s a huge huge risk. I’m not sure if it’s grill cleaner or dishes not getting rinsed properly or what but it seems as we are not the only ones who have experienced this and with commercial cleaners specifically grill cleaner it can turn from a small mistake to a fatal accident so please...
