5 Stars: A Duck Out of Water at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory!

We meant to post this a couple of months ago.

Just when I thought I’d seen it all, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory at Broomfield mall presented us with a scene straight out of a cartoon sketch. Mitch, a brave soul who lost a bet, walked in dressed in a Donald Duck costume so ridiculous, it stopped shoppers in their tracks. The ensemble was complete with bright yellow tights that hugged his legs, massive webbed feet that flopped with every step, and a white, fluffy bottom that shook with his every move.

The staff at Rocky Mountain were quick to join in on the fun, their laughter echoing through the mall as they encouraged Mitch’s antics. The embarrassment was palpable, yet Mitch danced around with a hilarity that only someone wearing a duck bill could muster. It was a performance so cringe-worthy, so utterly duck-tastic, that you couldn't help but laugh along.

Amid the teasing and chuckles, the Rocky Mountain team showed their sweet side by making sure Mitch left with not just a red face but a box of the finest chocolates. Their delightful treats almost made up for the humiliation - almost. It’s not every day you see a man in duck attire buying gourmet chocolates, and it's a sight I'll treasure.

If you're in for a good laugh or a sweet treat (or perhaps both!), Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is the place to be. They surely know how to make a moment both embarrassing and sweet, and for that, they get all the stars in my book. And to Mitch, here's to being an amazing sport; you waddled into our hearts!

Came in yesterday with my mom and little one hoping to spend a pretty penny on some really nice treats. When we arrived we were the only ones in there and the young lady working didnt say a word to us. We browsed for a few minutes waiting for her to turn around and when she finally did, she just came to the register and asked if we were ready to check out. When I asked her about the Dubai chocolate bar she passive aggressively pointed to where it was and at that point I just wrapped up the purchase because it was very uncomfortable and awkward. Didnt end up getting anything else because we just didn’t want to be there anymore. What could be so horrible about making chocolate all day? She seemed inconvenienced and lazy. I’ll just be finding another location to shop at...

8/6/2021 2PM: The costumer service at this location (Flatiron’s Mall) was awful! The COVID must have taken its toll on all the good, honest people who like to work and serve because the persons behind this counter today was just awful. She was not competent nor knowledgeable to serve her costumers! Nor did she care to be there working! When I asked to talk to the manager, she said she was “the manager”! This incident happens on 08/06/2021! There was only one person at the store! A female manager… extremely rude, incompetent, and “bully-like”….
