Hit or miss. PRO I recently gave Cafe Crêpe a try during the month of Feb 2021 after years of avoiding it due to overpriced, overdone crepes. I was so pleasantly surprised ordering Turkey Caprese with young woman w blonde hair working solo. I've forgotten her name that I think began with an "A". She was pleasant and the crepe really hit the spot. I returned the following day again for my weekday lunch break and ordered the Mediterranean Chicken, and again, delicious crepe prepared so well by the same person. (In conversation she mentioned she'd come up with that recipe and I certainly recommend it.)
CON However, I stopped there on Sunday Feb 28 and ordered the same Mediterranean Chicken and it was incredibly disappointing, as was the customer service. This time a young man with curly blonde hair was not trying to interact with customers and was initially sitting in the back room window on his phone while the redheaded young lady was handling everything. The crepe was overdone, hard and brittle, the filling was so sparse with a few dry chicken pieces, and holding the plate felt like there was nothing on it. It was not satisfying meal. (I took pics but unable to attach this this post.) I felt ripped off and told my co-worker I will never stop there ever again unless I see that the blonde gal is working there and advised her to do the same.
PRO The Cafe gal had even had an accident and burned herself, yet she still works with her non-dominant hand, with a great attitude and quality food preparation.
CON It is unfortunate that there is such inconsistency with this...
Read moreI had a terrible experience at this crepe place. The guy who served me, who had curly hair, eyeglasses, and a headset, was incredibly rude. He didn’t even acknowledge me when I arrived, and I had to keep saying “hello” just to place my order. He barely moved from his chair at the register and seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to stand up. I was told I had to “come around” and “pay here” in such a lazy tone, making it obvious he hated his job.
To make matters worse, he was making my crepe with only one glove on and didn’t even bother to wash his hands after touching his phone and the register. It was unsanitary and unprofessional. When I asked him to add Nutella, he acted annoyed, and even after I told him I’d pay the extra charge, he responded with such a bad attitude.
Then, when it came to giving me my change, he handed me 25 cents instead of 50, and when I pointed it out, he got mad and couldn’t find the extra change. I told him to keep the remaining quarter, but as I turned to leave, I heard him muttering loudly about the .25 cents I gave him. It was incredibly disrespectful and uncalled for.
Overall, the service was awful, the staff was rude, and the place was dirty. I won’t be returning, and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. This place deserves no...
Read moreSo in multiple occasions they were not open as advertised. Twice we stopped by after a class my daughter was taking in the area to get a crepe at my daughter’s request and both times they closed early and were cleaning up. I asked why and the answer was so they could clean up to go home. Apparently management needs to remind the employees that the store should be open as the hours show or change the damn hours. We even came 15 minutes earlier than the previous time hopefully make it before “clean up” and still did not receive service. Closing more than 30 minutes before your sign shows is unacceptable. Needless to say both times I left with a tearful daughter who now never wants to go back. Who can blame her. If you guys don’t want business then shut down and let another business...
