My teeanage daughter and I came to Poco loco for dinner and the service was horrible! I was yelled at, humuliated and told "just go!" The tall white woman with the salt and pepper pixie cut was our server and she had a slight attitude from the start of our service. I tried to by pass how short she was with me as I asked her questions about prices. The humiliation came when I notice everyone (other customers)was getting there food before us as we all ordered very similar things and we ordered very quickly after each other. (We all ate a high top almost like family style) A man came in after we have been sitting for 10 or 15 minutes and ordered and got his food with in 5 minutes of sitting. Us still no food. The man bragged about getting his food so quickly which made me feel like something wasn't right. After contemplating on rather we should stay or go because of how hungry I was but also thinking how the waiter was rude and short with me, I decided to just pay for the soda we ordered for my daughter and I cancel my order. I asked the waiter how much will the soda cost and I handed her my card. She asked me why was I cancelling my order. I let her know why and she yelled at me saying "your food takes longer because of the chicken"! We ordered chicken fitas and birra tacos which was the special for the day and everyone who ordered at the high top ordered the special. She then took my card and slammed it down on the counter and told me to go! I was humulited. This was not my first time but definitely my...

Well this is the first restaurant where I didn’t stay an hour or more. It’s also the first Mexican restaurant where I didn’t feel like I really got the Mexican experience and by that I mean everything was super limited. The menu was only one page which I wish I had paid attention to the details of the odd small menu online first. The place is super small and there is no table room just bar sitting. The decor is very nice but for a Mexican restaurant they were playing straight country music. I’m surprised this restaurant isn’t a fire hazard. I felt like there wasn’t much space and my personal space bubble felt a bit invaded. The server was very nice and friendly. They only had lime margaritas for a margarita selection which was sad. There chips and salsa freaked me out big time. The salsa they give you is basically a chili paste in a ketchup type container. It is disgusting but you do get the option of pico de gallo instead and the chips are hot. My entree was the chicken burrito which was huge. I didn’t notice until I tasted the chicken that it was cooked in that same “salsa”. I wouldn’t go back a...

The food was mediocre and the service was terrible.

It seemed slow. Only 3 or 4 other tables with at least 4 staff. We waited at least 10 Montoya to be helped. They asked us for our order before providing menus. Once we got the menus and ordered, it took a while to get the food. 2 of us ordered the exact same thing but got completely different meals, burritos. One looked like a normal burrito with sides. One was covered in sauce with no sides. When we asked about the difference, we were told they could bring out the sides to make it the same. (it doesn't work like that). We passed and just decided to eat what was brought.

The food flavorless and had the consistency of mush so none of us finished our meals. When we got the bill, we were charged for the meals we "should have" gotten so we asked why there wasn't a discount. We were told the manager said no. Asked to speak with the manager and she came to the table with her arms crossed and said "you are the food. You enjoyed the food. You need to pay for the food" she didn't even ask what happened or why we were...

This restaurant has a very intimate setting inside (has outdoor seating as well, but since it's fall, it's not open). Service insideis at a bar which seats perhaps 20+ persons. Its really like eating at the chefs table as the kitchen is right behind the bar. I found it to be a unique experience with incredible food. My salmon dish was superb and perhaps one of the best I've had. Served fresh and hot from the kitchen. My husband and the couple we were with had other dishes with pork, beef brisket and salmon. And we all agreed that the meats were tender and juicy and the flavors incredible. Absolutely loved this place.

Decent food, but overpriced. I've been going here for years. The street corn is not off the cobb, definitely just canned corn with mayo, not good. Anytime you order a burrito or enchilada with melted cheese on top, you can taste the butane from the torches they use to melt it. Neat trick to get the cheese crispy, but ruins any meal. The guacamole is pretty flavorless, and the homemade salsa doesnt have a kick. The back patio is really nice. The indoor space is great in cold weather. Staff is pretty nice and service is fast.

Service was good, the food and drinks were overpriced and not so great. I had a lime margarita that was very sour they had to add a bit of the strawberry margarita to make it taste better. The large is $10.5 pretty pricey and not very good. My friend ordered the steak tacos which was not cut up. It was just a whole piece of steak that was a bit chewy. Not very authentic tacos. In my opinion. I had the quesadilla the chicken was a little dry but edible. Wish they had more opinions to choose from and better seating.
