They fixed a tv of ours years ago. It took a while, as in a couple of months. But they fixed it. So In July 2018, we took a monitor and a stereo receiver. They said it would take a while. We’d had the previous experience of a couple months, so we left them. After several months, we hadn’t heard so my husband went to check on them. The business had moved. It took him a while to find the business. When he did, they said it would take another week and they would call. After more than a week and no call, we called. The answer was, it would take another week and they would call. This went on for weeks and weeks. In July 2019 - a year after taking the monitor and stereo receiver - my husband pressed them to find out what was going on. So they finished the monitor and he paid for it. But they said - you got it - that the receiver would take another week and they would call. In the middle of October, I started going to the business to ask in person. It was the same answer so after two of my in-person visits, they called my husband and offered to sell him another receiver “for a good price” instead of fixing ours. When he said he’d think about it, they said the one they were offering needed some things fixed and it would take about a week and they would call. When they did not call, I went in person again. I asked to see our receiver and after done time, he brought it out without the shell or bottom on it. He agsin offered me the other one that also needed to be fixed and said I could take it if I didn’t mind the things that were broken on it.
Soooooo, I brought ours home unfixed after 16 months of promises that were not kept. We will not ever take anything there again. If you do, you will have to stay on them. And remember, they will charge you just to look at your equipment whether they fix it or not. The only reason we let it go as long as we did is because we’re busy, working people who can keep going by a company or calling when they should be doing what they said. It’s a shame because good, honest repair people are hard to find. We thought we had it here in BSC but not...
Read moreThis place is extremely unorganized, unprofessional, and I question their ethics. "Officially Authorized Samsung Technician." Samsung should be ashamed of this place.
I was told it would be a week to diagnose my TV and they'd call me on Friday. I called the following Wednesday for them to tell me they "are working on it." When I asked if they'd diagnosed it he said "main board." Verbal communications is very difficult with these guys due to them speaking limited English.
So I asked how long it would be and how much it would cost. "Main board hard to find. Give price when I finish." Uh, no. I told him I'll be there tomorrow to pick it up. He said okay.
I came in today (next day) and handed him the reclaim slip. He asked what kind of TV it was. Why give a claim ticket if you can't use it to find your TV? I quickly realized why. The place is littered with TVs and parts just lying everywhere. He couldn't find my TV!!! I had to go looking around for it myself. Then, there was no backing on it while it just leaned against a wall. It took him another 15 minutes to find the back of it.
After putting the back on, he said it's ready. Come get it. So I walked back to the back to pick it up myself and take it out to my truck.
He asked why I "no want fix?" Well, because I don't trust his business anymore, for one thing! He didn't seem shocked, but said have a good day.
I was scared for my $2000 TV. After charging for diagnosis based on the size of the TV I should have listened to my gut. I'll warn anyone against this place. How is it still...
Read moreWe brought a flat screen TV here.
This TV was worth $3,000.
The TV turns on, then after a while turned off and a red light blinked 4 times. I googled the blink code and saw right away what the problem was. Because I didn’t want to open the very expensive flat screen TVs myself to replace the burned out piece, I took it to Lin’s hoping a professional could do better.
After a week, we called him to see what the status of the TV was. He said he had to order parts. Then we called every few weeks over the course of 8 months and he always said “oh yes Tuesday it will be fixed” or “oh yes I’m working on it”.
fixed” or “oh yes I’m working on it”.
After 8 months we were fed up and told him we’re coming to get the TV and he said “ it’s taken apart, the TV is open, give me until Monday to pick it up.”
We gave him until Friday and showed up and the TV was still open in the shop. He then got stressed out and quickly tried to put it together and then told us “the TV is broken”.
The TV was never broken, it just wouldn’t stay on.
Never in life have I had to remind a company for 8 months to work on something. Now the TV is even more broken and there is nothing I can do.
What I’m guessing happened is that he ordered a part, paid for it, then realized it was the wrong part and then I wasn’t willing to separate with the TV to accept a loss. Nobody should keep a TV hostage for 8 months...
