Quick shout out to Keana, please forgive me for the spelling.
I have dealt with this employee on three separate occasions and she has always remained cool, calm, collective. She’s full of information, always has a positive attitude and definitely supportive of the customer.
My biggest concern about this store is with the manager who I believe his name is Daris.
I’ve encountered the exact problem but on this day as I have during past visits. It was far worse compared to the other times. The lines were backed up, cash registers had no one to help the long line of customers.
The problem is that if you don’t shop at Kohl’s on regular basis, you have no knowledge the only way to cash out is stand behind the stack of customers waiting. There is no indication as to where the line starts and ends. Apparently the customer’s decide who is first, then a cashier ask “Who’s next”, they don’t even know.
I had people cut in front of me, people becoming hostile, and even worse Daris came up at the last minute, got between a cashier with a very frustrated customer, and just focused on quickly getting the customer out the door and left us waiting unnecessary.
With only a line on the floor “Wait behind this line for the next cashier to call you” or a sign the congesting can be alleviated. I like Kohl’s, what they had to offer, the price is right. I don’t like trying to check out and having such a horrific experience trying to figure out “Who’s on First and What’s on Second”, come on that’s an Abbott Costello sitcom not the way customer should have to experience the shopping trip at Kohl’s...
Read moreWent to kohl's today for some shopping, we ending up spending over 300 there, I found some boots on a sale, well everyone that would pass us were saying that they smelt an ashtray and my family had been smelling it too. Well we figured out it was the boots, I kindly asked for a manager to talk to her about it. The manager smelled them as well and said they smelled awful, literally like an ashtray, she told me she was taking them to the store manager to see what could be done, extra discount, some spray for the boots etc, the store manager shrugged me off and said it was the leather, sorry I've bought leather before this was not leather, everyone could smell them! I still bought the boots bc I had been looking for some for a while but the store manager was completely rude about it and acted like it was just us! So needless to say the store manager does not care about her products or customers. I have sprayed the boots with odoreater and hope it comes out otherwise I will be returning them directly to her! Never been treated like that by the manager of a store like this. You heard the other manager say she could smell it and didn't care. Every one that walked by could smell it. Idk why they smelled like a straight ashtray but I hope I can get the smell out. Even the cashier that rang us up said she should of done something about it that they were awful enough to put in a bag by their self. So if I can get the smell out I will be returning them. I have literally looked everywhere for...
Read moreI used to rate this store 5 stars but lately I have noticed some concerning things about the store management that have resulted in my drop of one star. There are signs for the employees EVERYWHERE about rules they have to adhere to, and there are also signs for the customers to follow as well in different areas. It doesn’t seem normal, and all the employees seem miserable. I don’t know, it feels uncomfortable.
I was in here not that long ago looking at perfumes and bending down to look at some on a lower shelf and a manager (I’m pretty sure?) walked up and asked how I was finding everything and made weird faces at me. I assured her I was fine and just trying different smells to pick one I liked most. She continued to stand for an uncomfortable amount of time and stare, and circled the area the rest of the time I was looking at perfumes. I can understand the idea of feeling the need to be cautious and making sure that people aren’t robbing the store, but it’s another to make a person who is very obviously not doing anything wrong feel like a criminal. This is just my two...
