STORE POLICY - NOT STATE POLICY My wife and I have a 12 month old child who must accompany us wherever we go. In the case that we stop by a tobacco shop, we hold him in our arms and browse the shop’s goods. This was the first store in the entire state of North Carolina that refused us service because we brought our infant with us in our arms. Their employee waved us out and told us that it was against the law for him to sell to us with a minor accompanying us. He stated that no one under the age of 18 was allowed inside store grounds. State law is that no one under the age of 21 may PURCHASE any product from a tobacco store. It does not prohibit children and infants from being on property. My wife worked in tobacco stores for many years. This behavior and store policy hidden as state/federal law is unacceptable. And it isolates a large percentage of consumers from entering their store.
The man continued to talk over us and never allowed us to speak. He just repeated his words. And as we left, he offered a very minor consolation of allowing us to use their drive-through. My wife wanted to purchase a vape and I wanted to browse their wares. It’s more than inconvenient to have to do so, with an obviously-difficult vendor, from a small window over a janky microphone.
Store policy or no, being rushed out of the front door like we were bums-IN FRONT OF OUR CHILD- has forever left a negative impression in our minds in regards to this store. We will gladly drive the extra 10 miles for...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Lola’s for just over a year now. Last week I purchased a Smok Nord C mod and some vape juice there. Upon opening the mod box and setting up the mod, the coil that was already preloaded was bad straight out of the box. So I had to switch to the 2nd coil that came in the box which in turn did better but went out within like maybe 4 1/2 days (I know they last about a week.) Went to purchase a new coil and for whatever reason the brand new coil (brand was smok as well) made the juice taste burnt and smell burnt. I’m not sure if it was a faulty mod that I purchased or what the issue was but I had to purchase a brand new mod because of this reason, which now I’m out of $40 something dollars (but that’s the price you pay for vaping products.) Lola’s isn’t a bad store, however this was my first time experience this sort of thing which is why I’m...
Read moreI've been going to Lola's for a very long time. For the last couple months I have been very disappointed. Every time I go in there the smell of the GREEN stuff is way to overwhelming. I have tried to purchase multiple coils for vapes I purchased there and they never seem to have them. When I try to ask questions about different vape juices, Its almost like I'm being an inconvenience. When Steve was there I never felt that way. He always made sure to help me. After reading some of the owners responses to other reviews from customers that had bad experiences makes me wonder how a business owner could be so very unprofessional. You should be ashamed of yourself. I definitely...
