Oh boy where to start! So seeing the "we're hiring a manager" sign out front I figured this would be interesting. We decided to dine in anyway bc we hadn't been to a pizza hut in over 20 years. We stood there waiting to be seated and finally were reluctantly welcomed by a man from the back who saw us and literally rolled his eyes lol like "oh God more customers" lol He clearly was stressed out, unhappy that we were adding to an already overwhelmed team. There were only 3 other tables seated... I almost left then but it was late and we need to eat before hitting the road. We watched this man and a new waitress fumble through orders, arguing and bickering with each other out of frustration like a married couple. It made the time go by... But it was really uncomfortable and 3 families walked out before getting their food and/or placing an order. One family having been served only drinks, came back in to pay for the drinks after the waitress said they were on the house for the inconvenience but then yells out and says "I said their drinks were free, you can take it out of my check if it's not ok" to someone somewhere. So they must have felt bad and came back in to pay for the drinks but when the lil ole lady gave her cash for the drinks, the waitress put the money in her pocket and said later to the man who seated us that she comped the drinks...ugh. Jesus was watching girl! Well we stayed bc we figured we'd get our food now that only two other tables were seated and already had food. Wrong lol the guy that took our order had already forgotten our drink order and came back to ask us again. At that point I reiterated our whole order. But he brought out the wrong pizza. Later we get the right pizza, drinks and salad plates finally but he forgot our wings so I cancelled that part. The staff then cooled down and the tension in the atmosphere faded and their very open commentary turned positive.
Dinner and a show not bad for $32 lol. The pizza was good albeit the cheese and sauce wasn't evenly spread. Would I ever come back? Dear...
Read moreI’m not one to complain about service in any circumstance, but I have had nothing but terrible experiences at this Pizza Hut. Over, over, and over again. This place is a pathetic excuse for a restaurant solely based on the employees’ incompetence. The last FOUR times we have ordered from here & paid over the phone, we have shown up to the restaurant after the specified waiting time had passed just to be told that our order was never actually taken and that they just “don’t have it” for us. Even after showing the receipt, they never once offered to put the order in or help in any way. All four times we have had to ask for a refund, and you would think after the first few times it happened they would get a clue as to how to take a phone order. As well as this, if it is THEIR FAULT that the order was never entered into the system and sent to the kitchen, why were the employees so rude when addressed with the question of where our pre-paid order is?? I have been working in food/ customer service since I was fourteen years old, and even on bad days I pasted a smile on my face and at least attempted to be a nice person to each customer I interacted with. If you don’t want to do your job that bad, get a different one. There are 50+ businesses looking for new employees around here that don’t require you to interact with people. If their regional manager doesn’t want this business absolutely driven into the ground, then they should fire half the employees in the establishment. My “final straw” per sé was when I received my “two orders of breadsticks”. If you check literally any Pizza Hut menu throughout North Carolina or possibly anywhere, it will say that each order comes with five breadsticks. Five. Not three, but five. So imagine the lovely surprise I received when instead of ten breadsticks shared between three people, we each got two, despite paying for ten breadsticks. Thank you Pizza Hut. Food is great though, when they’ll actually...
Read more03/28/2018 I have never been so upset!!!! To be told a lie or to be stolen from is just not a good thing. My husband and I visited this location and when we get the check the waitress takes our card comes back to the table and informs us " You are going to have to pay $5.00 in cash your card would only pay for $22.27"... " I said what do you mean it would only pay for $22.27 when the total bill is for $27.27... If you had punched in the card machine $27.27 if there was not enough to cover that amount it would have declined my card!!!!" "She said well I don't know but you have to pay $5.00 in cash.." I said let me just go get my phone out of my car and I will pull up my account and just see what you charged to my card because I know there is way more than that in my account or I sure would not have been here!!!" while I was gone to my car to get my phone she rushed over to my table and cleaned it off taking both copies of my receipt with her!!! I thought wow!!!! she has done this before to many people!! This is a scam to pocket money from pizza hut!!! I then went to the manager on staff and requested another copy of my receipts one from what was charged to my card and the other detail copy of what I was paying for... guess what he tells me we cant reprint the detailed copy but I can print what was charged to your card... I informed them both that I would be reporting them to my bank first thing tomorrow!! The waitress said well the couple before you had to pay $50.00 in cash.. its been doing this for several days now... People I spoke with my bank and was told it shows how many times my card was ran and for what amount and that they will be reporting this action... I just wont everyone to be aware that this is a scam to make sure she gets a cash tip and pizza hut is paying for it!!!! I sure hope they get this stopped soon!!! My husband and I will...
