Harbor Freight — Local services in Buckhorn

Tool prices: You cannot beat the prices on tools. Beware - the “hot sales” are just banners which are always up and rotated. Get the coupons (20% off single item) and swing in when it is convenient for you. That will be likely the best price you are going to get on an item. I stop in regularly and haven’t found something which was a “blow out sale” that I had never seen before. You cannot beat the price on sockets; screw drivers; and other hand tools.

Location: Very convenient right off interstate. Many stores in the area to make a half day out of shopping.

Store: Always clean and organized. Items are generally always in stock.

Only complaint: Some of the electric tools and smaller items don’t last that long. That’s where you have to weight in how many times you think you are going to use something versus the cheap price. Generally - things are so cheap, if it lasts a year I’m...

Harbor Freight is kind of like the Dollar Store of hardware stores. You can definitely find some good prices in here on items that aren't going to be "used and abused."

Need some work gloves, a magnetic bowl to hold your nuts and bolts, or maybe a right angle? This place is great and you'll save money compared to big box stores.

But it you need actual tools...wrenches, sockets, power tools, etc, etc, then I strongly recommend paying a few extra bucks for the higher quality products available at big box stores. I've owned a few of these products from Harbor Freight and find their build quality to be substandard and their durability to be practically...

Newer location, so it's clean. It seems very small, but i haven't found any normally stocked items that this store doesn't have. My cashier was SUPER friendly, and very professional. Like. Way too happy to be a cashier dealing with people all day. That guy deserves a raise. Wish i could remember his name to give credit. Derrick? Something with a "d"...maybe? I did notice his badge said "supervisor". Also had, other than the 2 cashiers, the only other employee in the store get me an item from the back that was not on the shelf, who also took the time to give advice on the purchase ace was very helpful. All stores should strive for this...
