Took my family of 5 out for dinner. It's not a cheap trip and I don't take my kid's out often. I want to have a good time and enjoy our experience. This was not one of those trips. This was our first time going to this Ruby Tuesdays and it will be our last.
We waited for at least 10 minutes until someone came to take our order. The waitress had to take our drink order three times in order to get it right. We sat for 40 minutes waiting for our drinks.
When our food arrived they forgot one of my kid's meals.
My husband ordered a steak. His steak was overcooked, baked potato was chewy, undercooked and flavorless.
I ordered a cheeseburger. It was burnt on one side and red on the other side. It was falling apart in pieces. It was also flavorless.
My son's meal that they forgot was a penne marinara. It was delivered well after everyone else was well into eating. We had to ask for it. The waitress had no clue we were missing a mral. My son said it was really watered down and he complained the sauce had no flavor as well. He was disappointed as he loves spaghetti.
My other son got chicken, fries and salad bar. The salad bar was stocked but very dirty with food all over the bar. Not a very large selection with what was available.
My other son had butter noodles. I don't think you can mess up butter noodles 🤷🏻♀️
The waitress didn't check on us. Didn't ask about our drinks or if we needed anything else.
Service was terrible. Food was terrible. If I could give a 0 star I would have. Took my kids home to make them dinner.
That was our first and last time going to this Ruby Tuesday in Bloomsburg,...
Read moreTried dining here this past Monday, keyword, tried, and will not go back for a long time. Not only did we wait nearly 15 minutes for our drinks, which we saw were made and just sat on the bar the whole time, we then waited nearly 50 minutes for our food that was not edible. The steak was like rubber, well-done when asked for medium, it was barely able to be cut with a knife. The mashed potatoes were cold as well. The jalapeno queso burger that was order literally was just a stale cheeseburger with some jalapenos thrown on it and was to be well-done but came out almost rare. The best part, there was only our table, another table, and one person at the bar. There's no excuse for this service, but it can't even be blamed on the restaurant being busy, cause it wasn't. When we told our waitress we were dissatisfied and were going to pay for our drinks and leave, she didn't even come back for our pay, we had to hand it to another waitress, neither one of them apologizing or caring. Then today, finally called and spoke to the manager who made no issue of it whatsoever. I even mentioned to the manager about the poor reviews that are here on Google and he literally remained silent, didn't comment on it at all. Even when I said had I first saw the reviews, due to the cleanliness claims in the reviews, we wouldn't have chose to dine there, he again didn't utter a word. I understand it's hard to get good help, but after speaking with friends who recently TRIED to dine at this Ruby Tuesday and then having the manager not care, it's evident there's not care for customers or a quality...
Read moreWe've been to this particular Ruby's 3x in the past month. The two previous times were really good, but this last visit was disappointing, service wise.
Sunday night, 7pm the place was not even half full with at least three servers and a hostess working. Our server, Paul, probably a nice kid but very slow and not very attentive.
Ordered salads with our meals, they came out WITH the meal, not before hand like it should and did before. He checked up on us ONE time. The were THREE tables right around us that weren't bussed all but the entire time we were there! They cleaned off one of the tables as they were finally sitting somebody there, then finally cleaned up the other tables. It took a long time to get our check, I even had to stop the kid myself to give it to him. My wife got tired of waiting to pay and was getting cold as they put us under the A/C vent and went to the car. We never saw the manager who you would expect to come around to make sure the service was as it should be.
The food was good, no issues there. But the chairs and tablecloths are looking worn or dated as well. If they want our business they need to step up because there is a Perkins and a Cracker Barrel RIGHT next door that would be happy to have it.
I'll give them another try, b/c the food was good, but if service is bad again, I'll...
