Almost immediately after I posted my below transaction details I was contacted by the companies general manager. This was a very boss move. We talked for a few minutes and he assured me that I would be taken care of and was very apologetic for the way the situation was handled.
The next day before noon a technician had come out, worked on my spa and was gone. I applaud the people in charge for their response. My spa appears to be working fine.
Thanks to those at Georgia Spa for understanding what truely exceptional customer service means.
Thank You!🙂
I purchased a new jacuzzi with dual motors from Georgia Spa and at close to a year I needed a service call because the motors would sputter randomly from time to time. Paid a $50 dollar service call and a technician came out and took a look and said the unit was a little low on water. So we filled it up to over the recommended level do to the floating filter unit. The unit was never low on water but because the filter ring moves up and down do to moving water current when jets are ingaged, the complete filter ring was not submerged all the time.
That was 2-3 months ago. Since that time the unit has been working fine until last night when the same thing started to occur again. I called today and spoke with Keisha in customer service. I was told that I would need to pay another service call fee to schedule new appt. I explained that I did not think I should have to pay again. After she talked to the manager she re-stated that I would have to pay another call fee and that the service tech reported that the unit was low on water and not considered warranty covered by the manufacturer and that I should of been charged $90 versus the $50 I paid. I explained the tech mis-reported and unit was not low on water. At that point I requested to speak to a manager. She said she’d have him call me tomorrow.
This company has no earthly idea what customer service means. Not happy with service after sale. The people that represent this company need to be offered the opportunity to take a customer service class or given one of the tens if not hundreds of thousands of books on excellent...
Read moreWe had been to only one dealer prior to GA Spa Co. We walked in thinking we were just doing our due diligence before buying from the other dealer. We couldn't buy they first one we saw without checking out any other dealers.
We were greeted by Cherry who asked up front if price were the only concern or whether quality, ability to obtain repair and replacement parts when eventually needed, track record, warranty, and customer service were also considerations. She kindly demonstrated Flair model on which they had a special going because of the Home Show which was on-going. After weighing the pros and cons we decided that the piece of mind as well as the ease of maintenance of the ACE salt water system was worth the extra money.
The installers were fantastic. So fast, on time, and efficient. They took nearly as much time to explain the initial set up and operation as they did to install the hot tub! They even let me record their explanation and demonstration because it would be a few days before we could get electrical run to the tub!
We've had more than one follow up call to see how things have been going. Both before and after the delivery. The customer service is exceptional for any industry!
My only complaint is our own fault. We still haven't been able to use the hot tub because we still don't have electrical run to the tub. I had thought I might find someone cheaper. If I had one recommendation it would be to slow down, pick the tub without buying it yet, have an electrician assure what is needed to complete the electrical installation requirements, and then move forward with the purchase of the tub. In the end, that isn't a reflection on Ga.Spa Co. In fact, I've "bitten the bullet" and called their vendor who will be here in 2 days!
Overall, a very strong recommendation in favor of The Ga. Spa Co., Cherry, and all of the helpful personnel! Based on the experiences to date, I'll buy from them again... If we...
Read moreGreat experience with the sales staff (Alicia) and a great purchasing process. She was well informed and took her time walking us through the showroom and explaining everything within our budget. She was also very quick to reply to emails for more information.
The show room is very clean and has displays of all relevant models. The pricing is not displayed on each tub but they are fairly open with prices. After visiting 3 other show rooms of different vendors, we were most impressed and comfortable with the showroom here.
The delivery went fine. They do not install electric so you will need a licensed electrician, and to account for that in the price. The delivery places the tub and gives basic instructions on filling and chemically balancing a new tub. I was able to get them chemicals right within a few days of filling. They do offer someone to come out after you've had the tub for more than a week to assist with chemical balance and any feature questions.
I have an issue with an LED light and they scheduled a service call to come check it out without any push back, so good on the service department there.
Do your research if you're buying a tub. Know what brands you're looking at. If you want a super low budget tub then it won't last as long as some of the nicer brands. We are very happy with our Hot Spot (Hot springs lower brand name) Tempo model. We also looks at Bull Frog and some other lower budget brands. Take into account the total cost (taxes, delivery, installation, electrical, cover, cover lifter, stairs, chemicals) and you'll be happier with...
