I'm a frequent customer of two of their locations. I will no longer be returning. I feel as if I was discriminated against because I'm black. I asked for more chili paste sauce and the worker told me we already have some in your bag. I said that's fine but I would like extra. She then looked at me and giggled and went to her coworker and started to speak in their language. She then came back to me and said well normally we would have to charge this. I said charge me because the money isn't a issue. Then she stated of her boss saw her she could get in trouble. A few moments later another woman walked up to the register as she was checking me out. So I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. I explained the issue and all she could say is you must let us know when you place the order that you want extra sauce in your bag. That is totally ridiculous. My family of six frequents the location and eat inside where we eat pho and the sauce is unlimited. So why are you limited sauces when someone gets a to go order. Again I think it's because Im black, they won't get a dime from me ever again. And I still left a tip on a to go order because it's the courtesous thing to do. And the manager didn't say thank you. Beware of...
Read moreWe visited on a late Wednesday afternoon and there was no wait for a table. Location is great. Being next to Starbucks is nice. It is located in a busy plaza and parking is free. Inside the restaurant is kept clean and the lit up tree inside is cute. Service was efficient. There was 3 of us and each of us were able to order a different size of pho. I feel the medium was the best amount of noodle and broth for any average hungry pho-eater. The small if you might've had a meal an hour or 2 ago and not that hungry but still hungry. However, if you are starving or sick with a cold and need broth, go with the XL. That bowl is huge. They do not play around with the portions here. My husband could not finish it and he normally could eat 2 bowls of the pho. Regardless, the pho dac biets were all good. Broth was good, though the thin cut steak had a strange aroma to it. None of us got sick afterwards. The meatballs were good. None of us had a headache after so they aren't using way too much MSG like other pho places. The condiments were decent, the fresh basil could've been fresher. They were all browned out. We also ordered the Goi Cuon spring rolls (A1) those were ok. Not much flavor. Would we return? Yes. But...
Read moreUnfortunately, had a very bad customer service experience from a head waiter. Had a coupon for $10 off and showed the coupon to the waitress and offered for her to take my phone to scan it. She said just write your phone number down. They swiped my card with a $5 off coupon that we apparently had but didn't want to use (honest mistake by the waitress). I asked if it could be fixed and the head waiter came over. I explained the situation and his reply was "Well you didn't show me the coupon so we can't fix this, that's on you." First of all, I only did what the waitress asked me to do. Second of all, no way to treat your customers. Not to stereotype or anything, but I would never get this type of terrible customer service at an American establishment. People who blame the customers, the lifeline of your business, shouldn't be in the service industry. It's a nice restaurant, but what a shame. Also, the owner wasn't there so I asked to speak to the manager. Another waiter replied, "we don't have a manager." There may inly...
