Purchased our new dishwasher in store on October 5th, 2024, with the expected delivery being 4 days later. Here's what we spent - * Dishwasher - $579.99 * Dishwasher Installation Kit - $34.99 * Dishwasher Install - $179.99 * Home Delivery - 29.99 * Hauling away the old one - $59.99 * 3 year Geek Pquad Protection Plan -$99.99 The final price wasn't great. But I needed the install You can choose the date of the install but not the time window. The only time window you can choose is 7 am - 7 pm. Therefore-- every single time I've had to reschedule, I've also had to take off work to make sure I'd be home all day. First Dishwasher arrived damaged... had a big dent. I had to reschedule by calling them myself. They wanted me to wait until November 11th. I said no way, I'd rather cancel than do that. They offered me 3% discount if I didn't cancel. I accepted that temporarily and told him I would call back if I needed to cancel. What I learned is they had closer appointments available that entire time... Only visable IF you get online and set up an account on their website and look for yourself.... BUT- Their own customer service reps don't know that! - They can't see those dates from their own computers which is extremely confusing for customers AND the representatives! Finally figured that out myself and set up another appointment (multiple times because things kept going wrong) 5 times total. Got the machine on October 18th. Had it 3 days and realized we were unhappy with the size and reluctantly decided to proceed with an exchange for a larger model. ALSO-the app for connecting it to Wifi doesn't work...Homeconnect not working means we don't have as many options as we're supposed to have. After having to go to the store to speak with someone in person they set up the exchange & they came yesterday to do it. He arrived at 7 am and he was quick changing the 2 of them out. He turned on the first cycle and told us to call him if there were any issues. After the dishwasher completed that test run, I opened it up to check it out and to look at the size difference. I found a soaking wet tag on the 2nd rack that the installer had left behind by accident. Then I checked under the sink to make sure everything looked okay and I find a puddle of water under the sink!!! Along with bits of cabinet pieces left behind from him cutting a brand new (not nicely cut) hole in order to fit the new hoses. I understand needing to cut another hole is necessary for different machines, but shouldn't it have been cleaned up afterwards? Cut nicely instead of just knocked out all weird and jagged? I don't know... but it really rubbed me the wrong way. The leak was more concerning than the mess though. So I went ahead and texted the installer that had come to tell him we had an issue.... no answer. Called, no answer either. So I called Best Buy to let them know there was a puddle under the sink and that the installer wasn't responding..... They put me on hold for 5 minutes then the represenative says- "We are sorry that this has happened. Dont use the dishwasher again until we can get someone back out to take another look. & Thank you for letting us know you were unhappy with the installer, we will request that they send someone new out for the appointment tomorrow" I said thank you and liked that idea. Well... the installer just left my house and he was indeed the same person from yesterday....THANKS Best Buy He looked at it, asked me where the water was found. Then tells me he thinks the puddle was there from him taking the other drain line loose yesterday... So he thinks the leftover water in that line is what spilled. I don't know how he overlooked that amount of water spilling out IF that is actually what caused it. I wish he had caught that in something! Or atleast wiped up the large puddle when he was finished. Luckily I had a garbage bag laid across the bottom of my cabinet, so the water landed on that. But still! This is not the quality of service I was expecting & For the sake of another leak I sure hope he's right about where it came from!!

This review would most likely be directed to their managers, and they way they handled my situation. In August 2019 I purchased a MacBook Air online and decided to pick it up. I decided to add a protection plan to it so I purchased AppleCare for $250 extra. Yes, it’s a lot of money but I didn’t wanna risk it. Once I picked up my order, the status changed on my online orders from pending to available, and picked up. Everything was okay, except my AppleCare was never available, and was the only thing “pending” in the order. I thought maybe a had to wait a little longer, which I did, and I forgot about it. A month later I decide to check, and the AppleCare is still “pending”. At this point, it’s been too long so I decided to head over the store. In store, the first manager who helped me was Megan. She called their Best Buy, and Apple costumer service line trying to find out what the problem was. She ended up telling me the problem was fixed and I just needed to give them 5-7 business days for the Apple care to become available. Which I did. I waited a week, and nothing happened. I came back to the store a week after, and Megan was nowhere to be found. Another manager, Brittany, tried to help me with my situation as well. I explained the whole mess again, and she somewhat knew about it. She said it was a very weird situation, and it never happened before so she didn’t know what to do. Really? Okay. Then she said I needed to bring proof of purchase. Really, again? Can you just check it online? At this point I’m very upset, and tired of coming in to find no solution. The next day I came in with proof of purchase. I asked for Brittany, and she wasn’t there. Really? So why would you even ask me to come the next day and you’re not even there. Smh. Fortunately, Steven, an Assistant Store Manager helped me solve my problem. Once again, I explained the whole situation to him and he was very, very helpful. He was very smart to come up with a solution, and it all worked out in the end. I understand it was a very tricky situation, but isn’t that your job? Find a solution? The same day, I decided to buy a new tv because they had some good deals. I ended up leaving with a 55” LG start tv for $299 which I think was a steal. In general, this store is okay. They have lots of stuff just like the other stores, but in my opinion they have better deals. Service was meh, except for Steven who was very helpful and understanding.

On November 29th we went in to purchase a tv and found the one displayed as you can see for $597.99 but when we asked for assistance we were told the price was wrong and they couldn’t sell it for that and that it was instead $699 by the pile of garbage guy on the left. He took down the sign to hide it (see it in hand in the picture) and got the blue haired pile of garbage assistant manager Kyle involved in which he told us the same then they proceeded to turn their back and try to lie and hustle the other pair of customers which had already seen the price tag also. When confronted again Mr Blue Hair tried to offer to take $50 off which still didn’t bring it down to the price they had displayed. They were both very rude to me and my spouse and argued that this wasn’t false advertisement. Very unprofessional lack of leadership at this store. Ultimately we did not purchase a tv and are looking elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM BEST BUY!! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU NOTHING IN RETURN!! I bought 6 appliances from Best Buy a few years ago right before Covid hit and my house went under major renovations. I had three conditions before purchasing these appliances. 1. I could always get a hold of someone if I had a problem 2. They could hold the appliances for me free of charge until my house was completed and 3. My Appliances would be protected and not sold out to other customers. About 5 months ago I was notified that my fridge was on backorder which I was already upset about. Because they were not suppose to sell my fridge?! That backorder should not have affected my purchase nor my property. My fridge was supposed to be sitting in a warehouse somewhere. I was then promised by the customer service rep. That not to worry we will be getting more in shortly. That did not happen. I was called a week ago and told by John my Best Buy Customer Service Advocate that they will not be getting any more in. I told John that I would need a refund then plus the extra cost of what its going to cost me to get the same fridge somewhere else. He Instantly hung up on me. Considering I got the fridge as a Black Friday Deal as well as a bundle having purchased 6 appliances the fridge was approximately $1,200 off retail price. Now that I had to repurchase the same fridge I already bought I would need to be compensated for this. Over the next 3 days I focused on this nonstop. I tried calling Best Buy Corporate even went into the Store and Talked to the Manager there. No one could help me. The Manager told me to talk to Corporate. Corporate told me they would call me within the next 24 hours. That was Last Friday. I even waited an entire weekend to post this thinking well maybe, just maybe they don't work on weekends and I'll hear something today. Nope. Nothing. I have sent countless Emails to John the Best Buy Customer Service Advocate who would always responded until now when there is a problem. At this point I am intentionally being ignored. As things Stand right now. I have had to repurchase the fridge I already bought once on Amazon for $3,100.86. I originally paid Best Buy $1,925.99. Making my original $1,925.99 fridge now a $5,026.85 fridge. I was never called to asked to pick up the fridge, that they were running out of that model or even given an option to delivery it early. It was just sold to another customer without my consent. I could have been informed that they were running low. There is many different ways this could be handled appropriately. However, Telling me that they illegally sold my property and then just hanging up on me without a refund or compensation then dodging every attempt I make to get back what I am owed is the complete incorrect way to handle this. After having a long and fruitful relationship with Best Buy. I would have never thought in a million years that I would be here. I was an Elite Plus Customer before they got rid of the tiers. And have recommended them to all my customers. But here I am. As things stand right now BEST BUY HAS COMMITED A CRIME. In the state of Georgia. Without legal authority, the sale of another person's assets is a crime. The person who makes the unauthorized sale will almost certainly, along with a conviction, be ordered to pay restitution for the value of the items that were illegally sold. I will be taking Best Buy to Court If I do not get reimbursed in full for the second fridge I had to purchase in the amount of $3,100.86. I have saved every email and receipt from both companies Amazon and Best Buy. If your looking to purchase appliances from Best Buy and your interested in my story. Reach Out to me and I will gladly share with you all of my receipts and transcripts.

UPDATE

I went back to this best buy location and finally was able to get a manager willing to call corporate with me there. Shane the store manager was very helpful and seemed to be on my side and was very nice. However Corporate was of no help. I got a partial...

My recent trip to Best Buy for a new laptop was an excellent experience. From the moment I walked in — I had my mind set on the exact make and model of the laptop I wanted (same make/model that I have now — maybe just an upgraded version, etc) ended up looking at multiple options narrowed down that the sales representatives pointed out, all based on the same features from my previous model. He helped me find one that was ONLY $402 WITH TAX!!!! 16GB. TOUCHSCREEN. ALL THE GADGETS AND WHISTLES. EVERYTHING I WAS LOOKING FOR JUST AN UPDATED VERSION OF MINE x10 with this copoint AI thingy built in?? Guess we’ll find out who copoint is tomorrow (they were out of stock so it will be delivered tomorrow!!! EEK SOO EXCITED) but overall he was incredibly helpful and listened to me and knew exactly what I needed, didn’t try and upsell me on a MACBOOK 17,032, he got the exact Make of the previous one I had (2022 HP Laptop 15-DY2702DX 15.6-inch HD Touchscreen Laptop Intel Core i3-1115G4, Intel UHD Graphics 8GB DDR4 RAM 256GB SSD Storage, Windows 11 Home, Natural Silver) — it was just an “upgraded” model with all the same basic features that what I had and needed. Walking in I had a general idea of what I had, what I wanted and needed and the sales rep (I will find his name because he was amazing) listened to all my requirements and needs for specific preferences and guided me through the main 2-4 options he thought I’d like. And within 15-minutes of walking into the store I was swiping my card!

What impressed me was their ability to find my old laptop - asked what I liked-what I needed/preferred more, daily use or just to have it, etc. He 100% exceeded my expectations. They helped me discover a model that was actually cheaper than what I had originally considered, yet it came with more 8GB of storage and, to my delight, was also a touchscreen! They clearly knew their inventory and were genuinely interested in finding the perfect fit for me.

The entire process was smooth and the entire staff was helpful and friendly. I walked out with a fantastic new laptop (receipt) lol it will be delivered tomorrow via UPS since they were out of stock (I can see why now) but I’m glad that I found a new laptop that perfectly suits all of my needs and more!! I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Best Buy definitely delivered on both value and customer satisfaction… it’s also been about 4-5 years since I’ve been in store and they’ve really upgraded the entire place!! THE atmosphere was completely different, they had so much new inventory, from security cameras (Ring cameras + more) to Electric Bikes!!! Was honestly blown away by their new remodel.

10/10 — AND I will find the representatives name who helped me and post about it because he 100% deserves recognition for...
