I was tracking an online order made out of state by my husband's boss for 8 items to be picked up at our Home Depot store here in Bulverde. I wanted to call first and a young gentleman, ANGEL, took my call. He was SO NICE and polite, very helpful and patient with me explaining how multiple orders were made online, including having to cancel some items to then reorder them and he put me on hold to check on everything and the phone system cut me off as I was holding and when I called back he answered immediately saying "ma'am, I am so sorry that happened; when I came back to the phone and you weren't there, I was actually looking at caller ID to find you and call you back!" Who does that! Lol. Angel did because he genuinely cared about me as a customer and he went on to go over everything thoroughly and professionally and that my orders were all ready to be picked up. I told him that I would be there in a few hours and he said "ma'am, if you need any help when you come in, I will be here to help you!"
When I arrive at the store, I went straight to the Customer Service Desk and CAROLENE helped me. She was super nice and quickly was gathering all my items in multiple orders. We talked about my husband being a trucker and she said, "please thank him for us!" So sweet! I shared with her how happy I was after speaking to Angel on the phone as he was great and she had CHRIS, a Manager, to come over to share with him too. Chris was very nice and grateful for the feedback and agreed Angel was really good caring about their customers and thanked me for sharing. I then told Carolene I was going to grab a cart and the moment I reached the carts, this young man comes quickly from the outside to see if I needed help and from his voice I knew it was ANGEL, the gentleman I had spoken to on the phone! Super great young man full of energy, and wanting to help Home Depot customers in any way he could. He pulled the loaded cart from Customer Service to my CRV and unloaded everything neatly into the back thanking me for coming in and to have a great day. I would be so grateful if ANGEL, could be recognized in some way, as he is BY FAR an asset to Home Depot, and to recognize Carolene and Chris, also great...
Read moreThis past Tuesday I purchased a Troy Bilt Bronco online from your Bulverde,TX  location. I went and picked it up on Wednesday, Apr 15th. When I got home, I realized they had loaded a Pony model instead of the Bronco. No big deal. I called the store and went back for the correct model Thursday morning. This time after I got home, with closer inspection, I noticed that there were rust spots on the engine. Also, large rust spots on the blades. The mower was covered with thick layers of greasy dirt, the center instructions sticker was stained brown and barely legible. The user manual was so waterlogged and muddy, it wasn’t legible at all. I called the store and spoke with customer service.  Per our conversation, I was led to believe the state of the mower was normal and I was just being picky. Why would rust on brand new lawn equipment is be the normal  I specifically purchased a shed to keep my new mower from sitting out in the elements and producing rust. These machines are not made to sit outside uncovered. The manager then told me the unit I had may have been the one that was sitting out for over a MONTH. Why would they give anyone that mower? He then offered only $100 off an upgraded mower if they didn’t have another Bronco on location. So this was my 3rd trip to pick up one mower. A one way 30min drive. Three total hours of drive time. I arrive on location to find that every single mower is sitting outside in the rain. I looked at the other units and they were all filthy and developing rust. Not one mower was left inside the store. I bought a John Deere mower 10yrs ago from the same store, and it was in mint condition, sitting inside the store. After viewing the other mowers, I opted to just return the mower and get my money back. When I spend over $1,500 dollars for a brand new item, I don’t think it’s beyond reason to expect that item to be in new condition. I’m not sure if this treatment of mowers is an approved display design in all stores. If not, I strongly suggest to become involved with the practices of this location. I can’t see how anyone would be happy with the condition of these mowers. I decided to take my business elsewhere and purchased a mower directly from Cub...
Read moreNeeded some 4x6 cedar post for a home repair. My handyman got a printed quote from bulverde Home Depot pro desk. They were special order in store only. I took his quote and attempted to order. I was told they couldn’t order that it was online only attempted that and was then told it’s in-store only. Back to the store i go… this time was told a manager had to place the order and no manager was available/there to do so to come back Monday. Monday comes and my contractor goes up there and a manager places the order. Seemed like no one wanted to do there job on the weekend anyway I pay for them up front 800.00. Wednesday afternoon I get a call that 13 4x6-8 post have arrived. I say great I’ll be there this evening to pick them up. 4:45 I get another call that the post are there.so they definitely must be there…6:30 I go to customer service to pick up and am told my order isn’t in yet, shows the 20th. It’s currently the 15th and I’ve gotten 2 calls. She makes no more effort to look into my order/locate says to call or come back the following day and dismissed me. I had scheduled install the following morning,so this would inconvenience several poeple. I go for a walk around the store looking for my pallet of post, locate them with my name on them behind the store… I go back and say I’ve located my order. Now she says they aren’t ready. Tells another employee “he took it upon himself to go look for his order”We exchange words, she still refused to help. Every excuse as to why I can take the order I’ve paid for and she passed me off to another employee who helped me and got the situation resolved. I spent 1.5hrs at Home Depot to pick up my order which should’ve taken 20 minutes. Worst buying experience ever! Most Employees at this...
