I have been a customer with this business for while now . I have experience bad customer service and I have tried to work with this store in building a relationship but I have experience unpleasant and unprofessional experience not only in loan process and I have notice they run there own way in providing a customer service experience base on how they feel. I have notice the attitude and demeanor . If you challenge them on there policy and procedures they donāt like it . I have spoken with the new manager and she has a bad attitude in customer service because I have advised her that I have reached out to corporate office in regards to they ways at this location. Be AWARE before you go here . If you looking to get a loan they will low ball you. If you wanna buy items they will try to sell you a product plan . I advise you to get it if you want your money back. There is a catch to this you will lose 10% of the item value . Iām very disappointed in there service and there ways of doing business. I have contacted there corporate and waiting for them to get back to me in regards to this issues. I would give them no stars if I could. My helper was Devonte and I walked in I was greeted by a women and she was very welcoming but as I walked up everyone seemed busy on their computers or helping someone else. so I was just waiting patiently for my turn until they have communicated to me they were ready. So Devonte is just looking up at me and then looks away so Iām thinking okay heās busy so Iāll just wait. Then he proceeded to stare at me and I'm like confused like does he want something from me and then I said āare you readyā as if Iām the one working there. He doesnāt even say anything and just nods yes with an attitude. In my head Iām just so confused I just walked in there and how am I suppose to know what you want if you donāt speak up. I gave him the benefit of doubt maybe he just donāt talk but then talks right after. I just find it rude how these workers take care of their customers. Iāve been a long-time customer of Cash America Pawn and have had decent experiences at other locations, but this particular one in Burien was incredibly disappointing.
I stopped in to check out a Samsung 4K TV and asked a few basic questions about it. The employee helping meāa younger guy with dreadlocks wearing a beanieāwas rude, unprofessional, and clearly didnāt want to be bothered. He couldnāt (or wouldnāt) answer my questions, and instead verbally told me the serial number and told me to ālook it upā myself.
When I checked online, I found the exact same TV brand new at Target for less than what they were selling it for used ($279 at Target vs. $300 at the pawn shop). When I brought that up, he had no response and didnāt even try to offer a better deal. On top of that, the TV had no remote and he wouldnāt even turn it on to show that it worked.
Needless to say, I walked out and wonāt be coming back. Terrible customer service and no interest in actually helping customers. I do not recommend...
