In spring of 2020 I had Zeus install a lift and steering components on my vehicle. Ever since the install I have struggled with keeping the steering torqued to spec. The vehicle was sent back to Zeus several times to be inspected and retorqued. Finally an independent mechanic inspected the vehicle and discovered the front Tie-Rod and Drag Link were installed improperly . Zeus failed to install the red tapered sleeves on my Steer Smarts components. The directions with those components clearly stated the red tapered sleeves needed to be installed. I contacted Zeus, spoke to Chris, and advised them what had happened and that the problem needed to be fixed. I was told that they would contact Steer Smarts to order the parts and fix it. After not hearing back for several days I contacted Zeus once again and asked for the status on the parts. I was advised they were waiting for a call back. Several more days passed and upon contacting Zeus again, I was advised they were told the parts are on backorder. Approximately one week later I contacted Steer Smarts and was advised they never spoke to Zeus and they had 132 of the tapered sleeves in stock. I was also advised because of the failure to properly install the Tie-Rod and Drag Link and the amount of time the problem went unsolved, the ends should be replaced because of unknown possible damage (Micro fractures) to the metal. I again spoke to Chris and asked what they wanted to do. Chris replied "Those were your parts, so if something was missing..." . The parts in question were delivered to Zeus in their original shipping containers and in brand new condition. Zeus installed straight studs into the tapered holes of the steering knuckles ,against the instructions from the manufacturer, and this is my fault? I contacted Steer Smarts and advised them of Zeus failing to take responsibility for their mistake, within three days Steer Smarts sent me the three ends at a greatly reduced rate and free shipping. Needless to say Zeus will not be working on any of my new vehicles.#Steersmarts.

Read moreZeus does a great job making your Jeep look awesome! They work fast and will deal with any issues that come up quickly and good response to emails! The reason for 3 stars is in the details. I had new tires/wheels put on, level kit installed and a new front bumper installed. Everything was done in one day which was awesome; the details is what made me think twice - it started when they saw the bumper I brought in and said it was going to be more expensive since it had lights - I had given them a picture of the bumper ahead of time and had already received a quote but they made me feel like it was my fault; Next, they thought it was strange I would ask for the speedometer to be re-calibrated with the bigger tires, apparently that's not something they regularly do and charged me extra for that as well (not on original quote); next I gave them a pair of D-rings and some new valve stem covers - they put the valve stem covers on but not the d-rings, not sure why; next they didn't sync the TPMS sensors to the jeep - I still have to find someone else to do that so my tire light is still on; next, the lights they installed with the bumper they just dangled the switches underneath the steering wheel; I really thought they would go the extra step given all their photos and the great email support I had but I was very disappointed in the details - the Jeep looks great overall but I'm still left with some things to get done and felt underwhelmed by their...
Read moreI called the shop ahead of time, explained what kind of vehicle I had, and briefly described what I was looking for. I asked if I needed an appointment to get an estimate, and they told me to just stop by whenever I had the chance.
So, I went to the shop at exactly 1 PM on a Friday. As soon as I arrived, the person there seemed visibly annoyed that I even showed up. He kept repeating that they close at noon for lunch, in fact, three times… I didn’t even bother correcting him that it was 1pm - lol
When I explained that I was looking to convert my car into an off-road vehicle, he immediately launched into a rant about how they don’t work on cars, don’t even have a hoist for them, then asking me if I knew how expensive the rent was…he said they don’t own the building, and then implied that if they did, they might entertain “nonsense projects” like mine. His ranting continued on as he went off about a Nissan truck in the parking lot that they’d been working on for a year and how much of a nightmare that had been.
He also complained about missing lunch with his buddies and literally said he dislikes anything that isn’t a “bolt-on kit”. He said he hates “research projects” and that my car was too old to lift…
The whole interaction felt surreal. This was not a kid but a grown man that was dismissive, unprofessional, and frankly came across like a petulant child. I’ve never been treated like that by a...
