Went to the soft-opening of this place on Sept 12, 2025. I have been waiting for a Korean Fried Chicken place in the Burnsville area since I moved to area. And I have to say, this place does not disappoint.
They have your staple Korean flair of what you would expect from other places whose focus is fried chicken, but also have bulgogi, buldak, japchae, etc. Fried chicken you can get in wings, drums just like other Korean fried chicken places.
I ordered their wings, buldak, bulgogi, shumai, and takoyaki. They do not have a variety of sauces like BB.Q, but they have 3 sauces to choose from. Compared to other places however, you can split order your sauces. For example you can get 20 wings, and do half of one flavor and half of another. BB.Q does not have this option. We ordered the wings in the 3 they have available which is Soy Garlic, Mundae, and Spicy. The mundae and spicy are easily the best and most flavorful. It is crispy and airy. I would say for anyone that has had BB.Q and Bonchon, it's a combination of those two, which they nailed it. My personal favorite is the spicy. Strong spicy kick, with a killer sweet flavor, highly recommend this one. Their soy garlic however is a tad heavy on the soy flavor. I know this sounds redundant as "soy" is in the soy garlic, but I thought it was kind heavy. I personally thinking doing less soy or adding in more sugar would fix this.
But my own personal recommendation, if you can eat very spicy, is their buldak. Hands down one of THE best buldak I have had. It isn't dry spicy, but very flavorable with a sweet taste behind all that heat. If you're someone that can eat very spicy, this is a special treat. The portion size is quite big for $18 and definitely something that can be shared with another person.
Bulgogi is also very good. Standard bulgogi as you would expect, but it wasn't dry, which is very nice.
Overall this place is solid and am very happy that Burnsville has now has its own Korean fried chicken place! And they are open until 10 PM, so if you have that nightly Korean fried chicken craving, you know...

Most importantly, the food is great. It is a great place for family outing. The menu is family oriented, they serve Korean cusine and some American food choices, which caters to the modern American family.
I just love how the staffing is unified in producing great service and welcoming me. As is a disable woman, a safe space is really comforting. They showed appreciation for me being there and was very professional.
As mentioned, the food is great, yet it is affordable. The food came out in timely manner. The portion sizes are huge, plenty for your dollar. Please try the torpedo fried shrimp and or, fried oyster appetizers. And with emphases, my favorite sauce ever is the sesame ginger sauce. I can eat that on just about anything.
Again, if looking to try Korean food, consider Chingu (korean Fried Chicken). They have a great menu and the staffs are really friendly and...
Read moreFirst off, i give full stars to the staff, super nice and friendly. I was so eager to find out a new Korean restaurant is opening near by. I love korean food, but this place is not. Korean-inspired food, sure. I had their Bimbibap, both my wife and was disappointed. There was so much black pepper in it that it was overpowering. There was no flavor of any sesame oil that i am use to in authentic Korean bimbibap, i believe is what gives it the nice aroma. It came out with red sauce that taste like Louisiana cajun spices, probably all that black pepper in it...again not the traditional Korean pepper paste. Also had an order of Takoyaki, there was an after taste that i couldnt figure out what....probably from spray oil they must have used...again not sesame oil, probably taste better. My daughter had Tteokbokki, she also was disappointed and didnt even finish it...never had i seen her not finish tteokbokki dish. All in all, food just not to our taste...this is our first and last visit I am sorry to say. We will continue to frequent our usual korean reatuarant near the outlet mall. Much luck to Chingu! Sorry it didnt...
