Phenomenal service and food here!! If you want genuine authentic soul food you have to come here now!! The greens were cooked to perfection and I got hot sauce to put on top because it made it even better. I licked my fingers like a child after polishing all of the chicken off the bone. I don’t like Mac n cheese but they make a good Mac and cheese! This is saying a lot because I HATE Mac n cheese but wanted to see if they could change my mind. The drink selection is amazing and they are canned so you know they are and not from a dirty old machine. I went here last night, they had a sign on the counter saying they are closed on Wed. A lady was cleaning and before I could say anything she told me they were closed. I said" I know, I see the sign, maybe you can ask them to update their website" .she again responded with " we are closed" . I told her I can read, maybe you can ask them to update their website. Then she went off on me. I asked her name she refused to tell me. She said she was a 3rd party cleaner. I asked her the name of the company she worked for again. She said she was self- employed. Maybe she is maybe she isn't. All I know is this is NEVER a place I would EVER go eat at. If this is the kind of disrespect and rude behavior you have for employees?...

As a southerner who has spent the last few years of my life in Minnesota, this is the best soul food I’ve found in this state! I got the catfish and it was prepared just like we do in the south! My girlfriend got the rib tips and the bbq sauce was incredible! Big portions of food, so the prices are a good deal! Between the two of us we got coleslaw, beans and rice, max and cheese, and fries as our sides and literally all of it was on point! I’m absolutely stopping by here again any time I’m in Burnsville!
