Edited: I see someone has made it a point to respond to other reviews left around the same time or even after this one but has chosen to ignore this. Probably because they are well aware of the horrible people they have employed and the cruel way those terrible people treat others. No worries though. I’ve passed all this information onto special needs communities around the area some of them have very powerful platforms.
All you had to do is acknowledge
I am still two days later appalled by what I saw on Friday. I wish I could let this poor kids parents know what he went through.
I was there around 5:00 with my family. There was an employee who obviously has special needs that came in. Some older guy who I’m assuming is the owner or manager or something was asking him why he was there and that he wasn’t working today. The young man then showed him something on his device. Clearly it showed he worked because the guy said something like he thought he changed it. I felt he was treated badly but had to take care of my kids so kind of walked away. I saw him later near the counter with the prizes my kids wanted to look and see how many points they needed for their favorite things. Another employee was saying HORRIBLE things to that special needs employee. Called him the R word, told him to just leave no one likes him etc. then told him he should take things before he leaves, clearly trying to get him in trouble. I was so sad and shocked by what I was hearing. The special needs employee ended up leaving at some point I don’t know when but what in the world is wrong with the staff here? This was horrible and no one should ever be treated like that. Having a nephew with special needs it made me so mad and sad thinking this poor boy probably doesn’t even know what was going on. I feel so guilty for not saying anything in the moment but I had my young kids with me. I’m so mad I will never be back here. This poor kid. How dare your staff treat...
Read moreI've been to all the Chuck E cheese locations, but I feel this is the best one! it had the most games I've ever seen, A REALLY REALLY GOOD Variety of games and different activities for all ages and levels , and even fun for the parents too! there's a machine that you go into like a wind tunnel and it has tickets flying around and you try to catch as many as you can. it has a little ferris wheel to write in as well as a teacup ride and many many more games, there were so many new games in there that I've never seen at any other Chuck E cheese and it's bigger than the other ones as well but they seem to maintain it pretty well and it was pretty clean too. it's got so many cool features, not to mention they have a salad bar which is actually pretty good! even the potato salad tasted homemade, and they have upped their pizza game too, that was worth getting as well. and I like that all the tickets that you win when you're playing games just gets logged onto the card that you play with, so you don't have to carry around all the tickets anymore, and they have two ways you can get play points; you can either buy it by the minutes increments (30,60,90 etc) or timed unlimited increments , we tried both. when you get the timed unlimited points , just know, that it doesn't let you play more than one game at a time , but we felt was still a better deal than the straight points increment card which just went way too fast. Timed unlimited play cards are your best bet if you're trying to get the most for your money or if you have to share a card. Either way it was a great experience and it was worth the 28 minute drive for us even though we have one that's closer to us this one was...
Read moreThis is the best Chuck E Cheese we have ever been to. It was the cleanest one I have seen in several states and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food has gotten better and a lot fresher since we were last there and the salad bar was fresh and clean. There were a couple games out of service but plenty for everyone to play. They also have added some new packages and different options for play rather than the cups of tokens which allowed the kids to play unlimited and is a lot more sanitary. It makes it a lot cheaper and you get a lot more play time in! The kids also got a ton of tickets so everyone left with prizes. The staff was patient with and kind to our kids as they picked prizes.
If you haven’t been for awhile, you should reconsider going. You can now purchase minutes of playtime on a card and you can even pause the timer when your food comes! The kids even get a candy when they return the card. I usually dread it when my kids ask for Chuck E Cheese Birthdays, but this one in Burnsville has definitely redeemed my opinion! I actually had fun today too!!! The management of this Chuck E Cheese should be proud! You’re doing a great job!!! Also, the gal at the counter, Amber, was so sweet and helped us get the best value for the money. That kind of service will definitely...
