Difficult experience for me at this Store last month. I was so mad at this Store, that I waited a month to complete my review. The drive thru normally is pretty efficient with drive through service, but they really dropped the ball this time. They were in a hurry and didn’t secure the cup lid and the whole thing (hot coffee) spilled over me and my new vehicle interior. Needless to say I was pretty upset, and they refunded the coffee. They apologized, but it left me quite a mess. They didn’t handle the situation to my expectations, and had little concern, or social awareness of the kinds of questions or follow through. The one person left the window when I complained about the incident. They didn’t even ask me if I had been burned, although I had sustained a light burn.
A call to corporate advised they would talk with staff, but it was such an ordeal to get any reimbursement for cleaning, that I gave up the complaint. McDonalds the next block over, has never messed up the lid in eight years of going there. They probably sell much higher volume of drinks compared to anyone, including Starbucks.
To be fair- the food product is ok, and their coffee probably the best in the market. Their staff is young and needs guidance on understanding the people they serve. I think this is still a larger problem for Starbucks. They deliver a highly desirable product, but lack the interpersonal skills.
I’ve encountered the staff at this store many times, and at times they seem inept socially - they don’t connect with customers well and seem robotic, and rude.(not all the staff). It may be a maturity issue, but the Regional Manager needs to inquire further to assess his staff’s...
Read moreI went to Starbucks with my father and he ordered a sandwich and coffee and I ordered a frappuccino. When my father ordered he specifically asked the young man behind the counter what was on the sandwich and that he only wanted sausuge. When the man rung up the order, he said there was something wrong with the register and tried the other one. Still no luck so he called over an individual and he fixed the problem. We sat down and my dad took his sandwich out and he noticed that it was incorrect. I took the sandwich up to the counter and the kid behind the counter lied to my face and told me that was what my father ordered. We left and a few days later my father noticed that he was charged 3 times for the same Starbucks order. We drove up to the cafe and asked for a manager. A young blonde stepped up and asked what we wanted. We told her the problem and she rudely answered that she would take care of it. The entire time she acted as if her precious time was more valuable and that we were causing her some great inconvenience. As my father tried to say thank you for rectifying the dilemma she interrupted him and told him,"well I fixed it!" Extremely unprofessional and childish behavior. I have not been back since and neither has my father. Shame I didn't get her name so I can warn others. If you get a short young girl with blonde hair, stay away and ask for a...
Read moreHmm well I have just recently started drinking coffee and if course the first places I wanted to try were Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. Well I have tried the store bought already made drinks from Starbucks and I have really enjoyed them. Well I would have to say I would prefer those. I was not super impressed with their regular coffee at all. I would keep drinking the store bought ones if that is any indications on how the coffee is when you get it from the store. Like I said I just started drinking coffee far be for me to say it sucked cause I honestly don't know what good coffee tastes like. I could go to McDonald's and think their coffee was good for all I know. Just saying maybe it wasn't up to what I am use to from my coffee, but I was not a fan. Maybe I will have to try some other drinks and then I can change my opinion until then it sticks and I give 3 stars. But the drinks I buy at Sheetz from Starbucks I'd give those at...
